Finished
CS Analysis (Pre-War Edition!)

Prompt: Every single character has strengths and weaknesses. But how well can you really analyze a character sheet? Now you get to find out! A member of the Children of Mortis has been identified, and it's up to you to develop the most effective counter strategy in order to bring him back onto our side!

Rules: Follow the link below to the character sheet. From there, comb through and analyze it. You must write four short paragraphs (minimum 50 words each, no max word limit) explaining;

1) What your characters plan is for beating them in combat if needed.

2) what you think their plan would be for beating your character.

3) how you think the fight would actually go down.

4) How your character brings them back onto their side.

Submissions: Entries should be submitted through the site in either a PDF, a WORD document, or in the submit text box below.

Grading: Grading will be based on the most creative and detailed analysis of both the enemy CS, your characters, and how the confrontation would go down.

Good luck everyone!

1) What your characters plan is for beating them in combat if needed.

Having already fought against him once before and knowing that Draca is likely still stronger in the Force than him despite his recent training, Bril would rely on using Force Suppression to level the playing field. Their lightsaber skills are evenly matched, so Bril would use Force Suppression to hopefully weaken Draca's Amplification and Precognition abilities enough for Bril's other skills to shine through. Although Draca's Stamina is higher than Bril's, the 2 rank disparity in their martial arts skill would, hopefully, be the deciding factor in the match.

2) what you think their plan would be for beating your character.

Draca would likely rely on overwhelming Bril with his greater array of Force abilities and outlasting him with his higher stamina. The key to doing so would likely involve Draca taking a more defensive approach, using his superior athletics to avoid engaging Bril in direct combat. Him being a master of Ataru and Sokan would make him very adept at doing so.

3) how you think the fight would actually go down.

The fight would likely be a long, drawn out one because while Draca has joined the Children, he and Bril are still on relatively friendly terms. Their last fight wasn’t due to any bad blood between them, but because Bril had been possessed by the Nightsister am’beta. The fight would likely be more pretense than anything, with Bril spending most of his time trying to convince Draca to reconsider his actions.

4) How your character brings them back onto their side.

Bril would try to play on Draca’s empathetic nature to get him to see why him joining the Children is the wrong move. Remind him that he knows about what they’ve done to hurt so many people, and that he would be helping them do that. If Bril gets Draca to explain why he left the Brotherhood in the first place, Bril would try to explain to him that while the things Anders did were terrible, that’s something he needs to work out with *him*, and that joining the Children isn’t going to make up for that. He would tell Draca that he saved him from going down a dark path when they first met, and that Bril has to return that favor by pulling Draca back from the clutches of the Children.

1. As Luka isn't certain they'd be able to match Draca in a one-on-one, they would bring in their Nexu for the fight. Draca's Creature Handling skill is mediocre. Bico might help tip the scale and allow Luka to get some strikes in while Draca is distracted. Use of illusions could provide further distractions, though Draca's sense skill is higher if they thought to use it.

2. Draca would likely want to take out Luka quickly and nonlethally. They would likely use their higher skills in lightsaber and martial arts to incapacitate Luka. Their use of sensing could help them peer through Luka's illusions to find the right mark. They would focus on finding Luka, avoiding the nexu as best they can.

3. Draca would try to hit swiftly and effectively, using their precog to avoid attacks. Luka would use their illusions and Bico to provide distractions while they keep out of Draca's reach. With enough dancing around their opponent, Luka would wear out Draca for a final confrontation. Luka would likely fail in a direct fight, but given enough time they could wear out their opponent.

4. Luka would attempt to use their high empathy skill and appeal to Draca's proficient empathy to bring Draca back. They would explain that the Children of Mortis do more harm than they could ever do good, and that their use of the Force destabilizes the balance. They would appeal to their adherence to the Light Path in order to get them to turn on the Children of Mortis.
