The Situation
Multiple accounts of transports being boarded and ransacked along the Triellus Trade Route and Pabol Sleheyron Route have been reported not just by the Arcona Logistics Task Force to the clan but contracted and civilian crafts to the Giletta Spaceport. Encounters with the unlawful along this area isn't unusual, yet this activity seems organized and word suspects a new group has filled the vacuum long left behind by the absence of the Pyke Syndicate and the destruction of the Spice Runners of Kijimi The Kon D'irin Society. Conflicting opinion arose among the Trustees' Committee of The Dajorran Confederacy on how to handle this conflict, leading to two paths:
Options
- Deterrence: The call for an armed escort, a display of force, could not be ignored. Meant as a deterrent, the AEF has started assigning a Braha'tok-class Gunship to protect shipments coming to and from Dajorra through these routes. During one of these escort missions, conflict arises. An attempted board? A warning shot taken as an affront by either party? The Kon D'irin sending their own message? Whatever it is. The mission stands clear, protect the transport convoy.
- The Front Door: It takes a smuggler to know how to approach a syndicate of smugglers. Sometimes that's meeting them face to face on their doorstep. CADRES mission requires the risky endeavor of establishing first contact with the Kon D'irin Society at one of their claimed distribution centers on Formos. Outnumbered greatly and on foreign territory, you must use your wits and cleverness to make a good first introduction while also proving CADRES & Arcona are not pushovers to be intimidated.
