Competition: DJB F1 Fantasy 2026

Welcome back race fans! This season's F1 calendar features an entirely new team on the track (Cadillac F1), a new works constructor (Audi, having bought out Sauber), as well as Honda and Ford both returning by supplying engines to Aston Martin and Red Bull Powertrains respectively. It also sees the return of Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas as drivers and the introduction of Arvid Lindblad into F1 as well. The biggest change, however, is an entirely new set of regulations governing the "formula" that the cars and engines must be built to - there's already consternation over some of the changes that could have massive implications on race-days, so lots of chance for big moves if you are picking boldly!

Suitably, for DJB purposes, we will also be making some changes based on feedback from the last few seasons - notably, many smaller events to allow for late-comers to still earn crescents as well as to encourage more active roster management between races (instead of set-it-and-forget-it).

This will include:

• 14 smaller race events (double- and triple-header weekends will be joined so that you are rewarded for smart picks throughout these grueling blocks for the teams themselves)
• DJB Sprint Championship (tallying your fantasy team's total points earned during the 6 Sprint events only)
• DJB Driver's Championship (tallying only your drivers' points throughout the whole season)
• DJB Constructor's Championship (tallying only your constructors' points throughout the whole season)
• DJB Predictor Championship (using the official "F1 Predict" site to answer 10 prediction questions weekly about the upcoming race weekend)
• and of course, the top overall score from the F1 Fantasy league across the entire season

We will again use the official F1 Fantasy league (once they activate it) as well as their accompanying F1 Predict league for that respective competition. The overall title will be awarded using this container competition as well.

Please message me on Discord (@kzoron in the main chats), write it into your submission text, or make your team name something OBVIOUS that is associated to your DJB character. I waste an inordinate amount of time at the end of every season trying to figure out who is who - if I cannot figure it out, I will simply DSQ the entry and move on.
