Competition: DJB F1 Predictions 2026 (Season-Long)

For this, we will be using the official "F1 Predict" site that is a sister site to the F1 Fantasy one. There are 10 questions posed in advance of each race (in addition to some that are live right now for the overall season predictions - like top-3 in the final championship, if team X or Y will outscore each other, who gets fastest pit-stop all season, etc...). Scoring will be based on the site's final ranking for POINTS (not accuracy %).

According to the site's FAQ, new questions are posed usually on the Wednesday before the race, with the selections locked before Qualifying (or Sprint Race on those weekends). This will be my first season using this, so I'm not certain if you get reminders by email when the new prediction Q's are posted, so we'll all discover this together!

Points for each prediction are generally based on the odds - so the more likely the pick is to hit, the fewer points it is worth. For example, George Russell is, for some inexplicable reason, the favourite to win the driver's title this year, so if you pick him to place 1st overall, he is only worth 5pts, while Max Verstappen is the next-favoured and is worth 6pts, then Lando Norris is worth 10pts.
