Breathe life into your character.

You have been given a serious mission... it's perameters and nature are up to you.

Remember the Alien movie series? Remember how gritty it seemed? How very Real it came across as? Look again. Why was it? Because of tiny little flaws. Everyone was dirty, the paint was always chipped. Things were in ill repair. Flaws show character, they hint of stories that have yet to be told.

This is all about character development. I want to see flaws, little habits, twitches, all of the things that would make me think of your character as a Real person.

Platform

Fiction, TNR 12 point single spaced... word or .txt files to be emailed to me. One page minimum.

Comments

These shall be judged on characterization first and foremost. realism is a close second, then inventiveness with grammar pulling up the rear.
