Competition: [MF] Friend or Fauna

Prompt
While much of the wilderness of Karufr has been tamed, scientists and biologists are still finding more and more wonderous species amongst the forests and mountains of our homeworld almost every day. While some species like the Kr’tallian Vornskr are tributes to the ability of foreign species to adapt to our homeworld’s climate, there are a great variety of native fauna on Karufr yet to be identified.
Taldryan’s alchemists have been requesting more specimens captured from the wilds, and you have been tasked with bringing some of these species back to the Great Hall.
OOC Details:
Taldryan’s planetary wiki articles are woefully under represented. In order to expand on that, we’re looking at designing and creating more articles that expand on our home system, and in this case the native species of Karufr. Your submission to this competition should contain the following:
- Appearance & Biology
- Behaviour
- Habitat
- Interactions with local populations
Feel free to have as much fun with these species as you’d like, but “realism” will play a factor in judging. Try to invent a believable animal/bird/fish/other type of creature.
Specifics
- Submissions do not have a required length, but you should easily be able to write upwards of 250 words in each major section.
- Pictures are an added bonus, but not necessary. If you use pictures from somewhere on the web remember to list your sources.
- Do not submit your article as a wiki page. Zip all files or put them into a word document. Don’t worry about writing it in wiki code, we’re more concerned with your content than your coding.
Note: If you have an awesome description but your name sucks, your entry can still win. We’ll just choose another name.
