[Force Ascendant] Raise the Banner

The Order of the Force Ascendant is now operating in the open, for good or for ill. Their ranks swell as new Crusaders rally to their banner. What does this new banner look like? What symbol does the order rally to? Report your findings.

Competition Details

  • Depict an insignia or banner for the Order of the Force Ascendant in a graphics (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc) or presentation software (PowerPoint, google slides, etc) format.

  • The image can be labeled or a separate explanation can be provided in the submission box. Explanations of the Heraldry of the banner/symbol are highly encouraged.

  • Use of stock images are allowed but any stock images used to generate the image must be clearly linked in the entry. Failure to properly cite reference images used may result in disqualification or a trip to the COJ.

Criteria

All entries will be graded primarily on creativity, story value and overall presentation of the entry.

Background - light pulses radiating from centre, to show that no matter how much the light seems to be falling away and lulling, it will *always* return full force.

Ground - Symbolic bronze plate armour, to show that the protected are protecting, and that bronze, an inexpensive yet very useful tool (much like the Force) is being used for the light. On the breast plate, the Order's motto is inscribed.

Figure - Lightsaber. It is symbolic, and shows that they are willing to fight for the light, and that the lightsaber focusses their light to a singular point of power. The glow of the lightsaber causes a slight interference pattern radiating outwards, which shows of the good consequences of the Light's actions. It is at an angle as this shows adaptability and form.
