Primary reason

House Tarentum is proud to invite Altheseus Levathan into the ranks of the Equites. This guy is one of the most dedicated members Tarentum has to offer. He had one of the highest overall participation rates in the Dark Crusade for all of Tarentum, which would be impressive if it weren't for the fact that he has also been tearing up the new Shadow Academy and leading a battle team up until quite recently. He only left his post as Battle Team Leader due to a tragic event in real life, and I have no doubt that he will apply to return to leadership the next time Tarentum has a position open. In addition to simply participating, Levathan is a true leader. He has become a crucial member to include in discussions about the House's future, and is almost always the first to chime in to welcome new members and encourage his fellow Tarenti to get involved. He is one of Tarentum's staunchest caretakers and greatest assets. Levathan has spent a year as a Knight now, and I believe it is well past time to welcome him into the ranks of the Equites.

Additional reasons

It has been a year since Lev's last promotion, and in that year I believe he has become a pillar of the House. A quick look at his dossier will show you what I mean. Constant activity, 11 months as BTL of Jen Kaari (for 8 of them it was the only BT of the house, and therefore only outlet for people looking for a little more), 1 Seal of Loyalty, 2 Merit awards, 24 competition placements (one of which awarded a Bronze Novae), 6 Legion of Scholars, and 104 cluster of fire. And these are all just the wins, not just the participation. In the Dark Crusades alone, Lev completed 17 events and ended up tying for the 2nd most participation from our house. These merits alone I think are enough to award Lev the right to be an Equite 1, but I could go on. His activity aside, Lev is a icon of the house. Representing it on IRC and the mailing list, we can always count on him to crack one of his wise ass jokes to lighten the mood, bring enjoyment to an otherwise dull topic, or just encourage some fun when there is nothing else to do. His leadership is something that we the summit miss as he helped make things easier for the House with just his presence but he was always there to encourage and inspire - and this still happens today just in a limited capacity due to his time. For the reasons above , I do believe Lev is ready to move into the Equite ranks. His activity over the last year, his contribution to the House in the Crusades, and his contribution to Tarentum as a friend, member, former, and current leader; he deserves to be recognized. Congrats!
