Primary reason

To whom it may concern: Jedi Hunter Delak Krennel is now ready to take that great step forward into Knighthood. To say he has been a major active force here in Scholae Palatinae would be an understatement. Upon his return to the club he dove head first into the realms of activity be it runons, competitions, or gaming. He has also taken great efforts with his character development (pulling in from his long history in the EH), and completed an over 1500 word fiction. Along side with a very active IRC presence he has been an outstanding example to the other members of Scholae Palatinae.

To date, he has participated in 15 different competitions ranging from House run events like the Looking Home Campaign, to DJB wide ones like Gorefest. As of now, these efforts have netted him an Amethyst and an Emerald Crescent. He has taken Leadership Reports, Leadership Studies and Leadership Fundamentals as part of his continuing efforts in being a fantastic example to the rest of the house.

Even more impressive is his continuing gaming efforts which has earned him over 460 Clusters of Fire. For the last several weeks, Delak has been by far our most active gamer. This gaming has also netted him 4 Pendants of Blood, which is quite the accomplishment. This has all jumped him up to GMRG Society rank V! This is a great accomplishment for someone who isn't even yet a knight. All of his great efforts both now and before he had his dossier restored, have earned him 4 Dark Crosses.

Delak has wasted no time with getting himself to DJK. As his time in rank requirement came to an end he was able to finish everything, not wasting a second to be ready for promotion. DJK is an incredibly exciting and important time for a member, and Delak has more than earned his Knighthood. Getting to know him and work with him and his quick integration to the club has been a great honor. Congratulations Delak! I know there are a many great things awaiting here for you as you continue your DJB career! Drinks are on you!

Additional reasons

I heard about a friend of Dante's who had joined the House, and by the time I got the chance to meet him, it's like he had always been around. Part of this may come from his long history that stretches back to a career in the Hammer's Fist, and he was quickly comfortable with the community and what was going on around him. He has quickly developed a detailed character history and contributed to the House, found his way into gaming and contributed there in a strong way, and still strives to learn more by tackling the Shadow Academy.

I am very excited to be recommending Delak Krennel for Dark Jedi Knight, a rank more fitting of his experience and contributions to Scholae Palatinae. Congratulations my friend, I look forward to all your awesome contributions to the Empire and enjoying our time writing and developing our characters together. For the Empire!

When he hit me up via email a few months ago, I figured that he was just saying hi as many of the older members from the Pre-Exodus period do from time to time. If he did join, I didn't think that he would stick with it for too long. I'm glad that I was wrong.

Since his return to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood from the far reaches of space (also known as RL), Delak has become an excellent member of Scholae Palatinae. From his diverse gaming activities (Clusters of Fires & Pendants of Blood for JA, Pazaak, SC2, and D3) to his fiction (numerous fiction competition entries plus two long character development pieces), Delak has been a constant source of activity over the past few months. He has been on by almost every day, and he has excellent communications via email on the house email group. Delak has taken on a leadership role as my Sergeant for Battle Team Dorimad Sol as we restarted my old House unit from scratch.

I am pleased to write this recommendation for the man who got me to rejoin the Dark Brotherhood back in 2002 after a long hiatus. Hopefully, it will be the first of many to come over the next few years. Congrats!
