Rrogon Skar is considered a junior member of Nighthawk, but he pulls his weight like the rest of the veteran members. Recently he has been keeping a Brotherhood wide series of competitions running that has received a generally well submission response. Aside from that, Skar has been participating in as many competitions as possible managing to submit to 8 of them since his last merit award. Competitions are not his only contribution, however. Skar has at least 4 ACC matches under his belt showing his enjoyment of the Combat Center and his desire to expand his writing skills.

The Nighthawk wiki rework has brought interest to Skar, as he has taken it upon himself to summarize the events of various major competitions into a fiction form so we can implement combat action into our wiki to show the rest of the membership what the Nighthawk has accomplished; something that can take some time to do and requires a lot of creativity. Nighthawk has been working on creating a list of NPCs that make up the rest of the fictional crew, to which Skar has also created several which will be put into wiki format as soon as edits and suggestions are given by the CO and XO. Lastly, the Nighthawk run-on Strange and Beautiful has been a large part of Skar’s activity, giving him more and more opportunity to refine his own writing, as well as build relationships and friendships with other members of the crew.

With everything you have done, Skar, I thank you for it. Please accept this Steel Cross and continue to shine.

Skar is an amazing kid. Really, it’s not even fair to call him a kid, young and learning though he may be. He keeps pace with the best of us with sheer hard work, eagerness, and determination. I have lost count of the number of times he has come to me asking for any work that could help the House, and I know he applies exactly that much energy, if not more, to his Battleteam.

Skar has put together and helped run several Brotherhood-wide competitions, including four additions of a fiction competition series called Blood and Glory. Besides his contributions to the Brotherhood as a whole, this workhorse has thrown himself into eight competitions since his last award, including participating in the Clan-wide event, Operation: Figureheads, and contributing therein to his chosen faction, supporting his team as always. Yet somehow, Skar always had time and passion for his mentors and teammates in Nighthawk, submitting posts to their Strange and Beautiful Run-On, learning more as he wrote, and contributing to Nighthawk projects for the sake of his team.

For his dedication, spirit, and effort, I’m more than pleased to be awarding Skar this Steel Cross. Congrats, hon. You certainly earned it. Keep going strong!

Aedile of House Galeres

Skar has been an asset and extremely active within the Nighthawk Battleteam since his last merit award. He is always willing to offer a helping hand on any Battleteam projects, including our wiki overhaul and history. He has also participated in 8 competitions and has made several post on the Nighthawk RO: Strange and Beautiful. His activity hasn’t stopped there: he is also active in the House RO: Operation Revival. Skar has received a Crescent with Sapphire Star, two Pendants of Blood, 383 Clusters of Fire, 6 Clusters of Ice, and 3 Seals of the Crusader. In the Shadow Academy, Skar has received a Dark Maven in Lore and has completed Galactic Languages, Races and Species, Mandalorian Studies, Alchemy Studies, Planets and Stars, ACC Qualification, and Leadership Studies.

Skar is a junior member of Nighthawk, but is as active as more experienced members. Because of his activity and willingness to offer assistance, I recommend that we reward him with a Steel Cross.

Skar you have more than earned this award. It has been an honor serving with you and I look forward to continuing to work with you.
