Primary reason

Out of all the Battleteam Leaders I’ve dealt with over my career, Revak is the one that has impressed me the most. He is hard-working, diligent and committed to his responsibilities, and works great as part of our leadership team.

He has been the Battleteam Leader of Strike-Team Ooroo since before his last promotion, being appointed on September 19, 2013. Since his last promotion on November 28, 2013, he has continued to embrace and excel in his role.

He maintains strong communication with his team and the rest of our leadership team, and is always ready to voice his opinion and offer constructive dialogue on a myriad of topics. He is someone we can rely on, and demonstrates this by never having missed a report. He leads his team by example, having personally participated in 41 competitions, and he has organizing 43 competitions for his members to participate in.

In the eleventh Great Jedi War, under his leadership, seven members of his team participated and he personally participated in four events (Round 1 and 2 Puzzle and Graphics), and has earnt 14 Seals of the Crusader from the Dark Crusade and Fading Light Vendettas.

For his work so far, he has been awarded a Steel Cross and an Anteian Cross. He has also earnt himself seven Crescents (2 Sapphire, 3 Emerald, 1 Topaz and 1 Quartz), 47 Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood, three Clusters of Ice and a Legion of the Scholar. With all of this, and after nearly 14 months of leading his team, I believe it is time that Revak was elevated to the second level of Equites. Congratulations, Revak!

Additional reasons

Ever since I joined House Odan-Urr back in late 2013. Revak has been one of the most active members of the House. After I took up the BTL position of Knights of Allusis I got to know him a bit better and really understood why he had the respect of the Summit and the membership. Revak has held the position of BTL of Strike-team Ooroo ever since his last promotion on November 28th 2013, and has never missed a report. In that time he has organized or co-organized Battleteam events and House events. We organized the Liberation: Tides of Freedom event together.

All in all he co-organized 37 competitions and participated in 40. He was awarded an Anteian Cross, Steel cross, two Crescents with Sapphire, three with Emerald, one with Quartz and one with Topaz star. Three Clusters of Ice, a Pendant of Blood, a Legion of the Scholar and fourty-seven Clusters of Fire. He has participated in an additional three events during the Fading Light vendetta, four events in the recent Great Jedi War and since his last award on November 29th 2014. he has organized two competitions and participated in an additional 4.

To say that Revak has been an active, consistent and good leader is an understatement. He was appointed BTL on September 18th 2013. and hasn't lost touch with what his job is the whole time. His constant activity and desire to push Ooroo and House Odan-Urr to greater heights is inspiring and award-worthy. In that name, and in the hopes he will remain as active as he is now, i would like to recommend Revak Kur for this promotion. You deserve it, my friend.

I’ve served with Revak for a time, ever since his appointment as Battle Team Leader of Strike Team Ooroo. He’s the kind of person that gets the hard results, without the need to push around redundant systems. Having seen him at the front of our efforts, his activity through the Dark Crusades, Fading Light and the Eleventh Great Jedi War speak for his diligence and drive to get things done. He’s never skipped out on a release of a content-heavy report, able to keep to strict deadlines and release dates. Given the quality of his announcements, reports and efforts to sell the idea of being the elite strike-team of Odan-Urr’s forces he has pushed his Battle Team’s capabilities to the maximum. Oftentimes, this would result in a maximum participation scoring from his Battle Team’s numbers, or close to it.

Not only this, but to say he hasn’t worked outside of his Battle Team would be a disservice. He came up with a bounty board system, which allowed members be to given assignment to other projects in an efficient fashion. He’s worked on making sure a number of our articles were error-free and contributed to the opening of the Disciples of Baas. Currently, he’s been developing a huge part of Odan-Urr’s lore as the Aedile of House Satele Shan. I wouldn’t have placed him in this position if I didn’t see his value as a hard-working leader. It makes me proud to see him rise through the ranks through the years, and continue to excel at a new position that hasn’t previously existed. Right now, he’s the kind of person that Odan-Urr needs. Congratulations my friend, you have earned this.
