Cethgus started out in the deep dark side, but over constant fictional development and run-ons he has moved towards the gray side. Shifting his opinion that he needs loyalty and that the dark side does not offer the most strength. Knowing full well that he is not fully driven by the dark side his battle experience has shown him benefits to knowing more than just one side. Over time he has gained friends that have helped him over time finding that he doesn't always need to hate and be filled with anger, developing Ceth into someone that sees both sides to the argument now days.
