Sildrin does not see herself being affiliated to the Sith.

She seeks a way to harness and control the Force and make it bend to her will. Increasing her control in Force Powers is something she values more than 'mundane' power over people.

Thus the philosophy of the Sith means only a hindrance from her point of view.
