Although a newer member, Destin Oceanfel is an exceptional addition to House Satele Shan, he swiftly became one of the heavier presences in the Telegram chat and is often seen communicating with other members in a jovial manner and it is my pleasure to recommend him for promotion to Padawan. During his 26 days in rank Destin has posted on both the Brotherhood Forums as well as on the website, Participated in 10 competitions, Written 2000+ words of Character Fiction approved by his Master (V'yr Vorsa), Placed in 8 competitions, Received 5 Clusters of Ice and Rank 3 in the Shadow Academy Society.

Destin's Quaestor and Aedile have mentioned all of Destin's accomplishments already so I won't mention that. What I will mention is that Destin is a very active, very independent member. Truthfully, I really only helped guide him in minuscule amounts through advice when he asked for it, so I can truly say that all of his achievements are his own independent work.

The amount of drive he has for DB activities, especially writing, is brilliant. Even as real life knocks on his door, he is constantly active on Telegram, mail and is an overall positive influence in his Clan and House. I'm proud of my apprentice, not because I have helped him a lot, but because I've helped him very little and I honestly see a bright future for him should he want to explore the Club further.

Destin Oceanfel is a member that has drawn my interest right from the start. He's always available to offer his insight, having joined us in our Clan Channel and chatting up the rest of Odan-Urr with a friendly tone and always bringing a fresh perspective to conversation. Indeed, his opinions and perspective have even spilled over to others forms of communication in the Brotherhood, such as the Forums and his comments on Clan reports.

On top of his presence in our channel, Destin has busied himself with a character fiction that exceeded 2000 words, as well as earning five Clusters of Ice. Destin participated in five competitions, earning first place in the three competitions for the Phantom of the Feud Event, second place in Who Let Goat Out?, as well as participating in the competition Operation Aksor. He even found time to reach Rank 3 in the Shadow Academy Society
