Primary reason

Navigating the path into the Equite ranks can be difficult at times; there is no road after Dark Jedi Knight. For those that attain Knighthood and never slow their pace, however, it comes naturally. Rulvak Qurroc is one of these individuals. He is someone who allows his work to speak for himself.

Since his last elevation, Rulvak has built an impressive collection of trophies due to his victories and participation. Since becoming a Knight he has earned one Steel Cross, one Anteian Cross, four Crescent with Diamond Star, seven Crescent with Ruby Star, eight Crescent with Amethyst Star, one Crescent with Sapphire Star, four Crescent with Emerald Star, three Crescent with Topaz Star, eight pendants of blood, 924 Clusters of Fire, seven Clusters of Ice, 1984 Clusters of Earth and a Scroll of Indoctrination.

His awards speak for themselves, but hardly tell the entire story. He has served as the Battleteam Sergeant of the Nighthawk Battleteam for seven months, before recently earning his assignment to Battleteam Leader of the Nighthawk. My choice to appoint Rulvak as the Battleteam Sergeant has been something I never regretted and when my successor Kordath took over, Rulvak continued to accomplish any task assigned to him without hesitation. This included writing sub-sections of a report, working with members one-on-one to encourage participation, helping his BTL create competitions, and assisting the House Summit.

Alongside his time as a leader within Arcona, he has managed to organize three competitions, participate in sixty-seven, complete 9 PVP activities, 283 PVE activities, five fiction activities with 2311 words written, and two run-on posts for 1408 words written and, finally, passed six Shadow Academy courses.

For everything you have accomplished, for your hard work, and activity. It is a pleasure to congratulate you on your promotion to the Equite ranks.

Additional reasons

Rulvak, Warp, Commander/Captain Qurroc or simply ‘that funny looking bloke’ has been an awesome mainstay in the Nighthawk team and crew. Besides the fact that he’s an absolute beast at the gaming - as the numbers above will show you - Warp has been a social creature as well. His ability to almost always be around on Telegram in the Battleteam or House channels is uncanny and he’s always got something positive to add to the conversation. Sometimes it’s meaningful, sometimes it’s just hilarious but either way he’s engaging his fellow members and making them feel welcome. This is something that I greatly admire about Warp and I know it will serve him well as he leads his team and takes his first Equite rank.

From the purely Rollmaster perspective, I don’t think we have another Master who spends as much one on one time with his student as Rulvak does with Mac. They game together, they hang together, if all of our mentors were able to do what Warp does on a regular basis I’d be the happiest guy in the world. Warp, you’re awesome and you deserve this promotion, it’s been a joy working with you on the Nighthawk and I look forward to your continuing streak of being an awesome individual.

I have been in the Brotherhood for a long, long time. And you just know when someone is going to be special as a member. When I rejoined House Galeres as the Quaestor, it was immediately evident to me that Rulvak (Warp) was going to be one of those people.

Initially, his production was solely in gaming. Not an uncommon thing for a new member to find something safe and enjoyable for themselves. Yet, as he was challenged by his BTL & AED, to stretch himself out… he clearly embraced their guidance. There was no resistance to improving his writing, trying new or different formats, and the most impressive part: he asked others to come along with him on the journey. Nighthawk recently just competed in [Arcona] Halloween Horror Nights under their newly appointed Battle Team Leader. I held my breath. How would this veteran, quirky team handle direction from the young upstart? He never disappointed. Warp whipped his team into 41 submissions and tied for First Battle Team (based on participation).

Uncommon individual activity. Uncommon peer-to-peer leadership. This young man meets all the unwritten check marks for entry into the Equite ranks. And I am sure we will see him go on to do great things for Galeres, Arcona, and the Brotherhood.
