So, unfortunately I don't have my normal partner in crime to do the dirty work of going through and evaluating everything that the recipient has done. I usually leave that sort of thing to Howie, because beyond the fact that he gets some weird amount of thrills from the mysteries of medal and promotion craft in the Brotherhood, it typifies our working relationship. Howie is my right hand man and the complement to me in many ways. He's rational when I'm angry, passionate about things I don't care about, and he's always willing to do what needs to be done.

Since his last merit award from me, Howie's actually been a little bit inactive. I mean sure, he's posted 6 reports, and participated in nearly 40 competitions and created and run 6 more. He's been middling active in gaming garnering over 100 CFs, and has chalked up 7 various crescents to go along with them. He's somehow found 5 more courses to pass and another degree to earn in the Shadow Academy... and he's somehow, beyond all comprehension of mine, completed an ACC battle.

The ACC battle needs to take special note, because while he's notorious for his hatred of all this fictional and writing related... Howie participated in an ACC match for one sole reason: to help a member of Taldryan progress through the journeymen ranks. That's what Howie is, and that's what Howie does. He serves Taldryan in any way he can, and he constantly whines and bitches while doing it. It's also why we love him.

Congratulations on this Anteian Cross, Howie. Add it to your little pile of awards you think you don't deserve but clearly do. Jackass.
