Alaris is one of those members who, I think, often goes unrecognized. His accomplishments aren’t flashy, and he isn’t one to talk up his own activity. He doesn’t write reports or draft competitions. He doesn’t make a spectacle. What he is, is consistent. And that is far too uncommon these days. Over the past eight months, Alaris has participated in sixteen competitions, earning eight Crescents (three Emerald, two Sapphire, two Amethyst and a Ruby) in the process. That’s a 50% placement ratio, often against a dozen or more opponents. Despite his quiet nature, he is one of the members you know you can count on to participate regularly, and to contribute when needed.
