Farrin Xies has served the Dark Brotherhood in the role of Consul of Clan Tarentum and Headmaster of the Dark Brotherhood since he was elevated to the rank of Battlemaster. During this time Farrin provided Tarentum six months of steady leadership and guided the Clan through its continued emergence as a force within the Dark Brotherhood. In addition to his duties as a Consul, Farrin also served the Dark Brotherhood as a whole by dedicating his time and efforts first as Magistrate and then Praetor to the Headmaster. It was during this time that Farrin set himself apart from the rest of the Shadow Academy staff and became the unanimous choice to replace Dacien Victae di Plagia as the Headmaster.
Since assuming the role of Headmaster, Farrin has become an integral part to the Dark Council. He has initiated the rewrite of courses and continues to work through the long and arduous process of updating courses that are long past due. Farrin has also demonstrated an exceptional capability to support the Dark Brotherhood on a myriad of other tasks ranging from possessions work to providing feedback on other Councilor’s projects.
Farrin is a dedicated member and leader of our club and his elevation to Battlelord is well deserved. Congrats!

Battlemaster Farrin Xies has performed above and beyond a traditional Equite Two. Typically our members serve as House Leaders or are just entering the position of Proconsul at this rank. Farrin; however, is not a traditional Equite. Over the past ten months he has served as both a Consul and a Dark Councilor. These positions often fall upon the shoulders of our Elders, but Farrin has proven that he is more than capable to serve among our elite.
Statistically, Farin has served as a CON for six months and the Headmaster for four months. During that time he has organized 4 competitions, co-organized 21, participated in 26, and earned merit awards for both his work in Tarentum and within the Shadow Academy.
Farrin’s work in Tarentum, as detailed by Sarin, focused on maintaining the positive momentum of his predecessor and continuing Tarentum’s steady path of improvement since their days as a House. Farrin organized his leadership with a mix of junior and senior leaders and stabilized a Clan in need of a solid foundation.
As the Headmaster, Farrin has led the major restructuring of the SA by appointing new Professors, releasing the Lightsaber course, releasing the Martial Arts course, releasing the Diablo 3 Primer course, updating the Planets and Moons course, updating the Fist-o-Matic course, and creating and promoting a simple and easy to use error form so members can easily report mistakes and typos in SA courses.
Farrin has served our club in an unbelievable manner and he is greatly deserving of this promotion. Congrats!

Farrin made my job as Headmaster easy. He was a constant source of energy, ideas, and effort focused on making the Shadow Academy a better place. As my magistrate and then praetor, Farrin was involved in just about every decision I made, received every email I sent, and stepped up -- particularly in my final few weeks, as my replacement was being selected (surprise: it was Farrin) -- to effectively run the Shadow Academy when my work obligations left me too little time to do it justice. My tenure at the Shadow Academy would not have been nearly as successful as it was without his hard work and dedication, and I will always be grateful for his help and advice.
Farrin, you’ve more than earned this promotion. Keep up the great work, and thank you!
