I am honored to award Derek Cinn another merit medal - a Dark Cross - in such a short period of time. He continues to amaze me with his tenacity to participate, hunger to do more, and maturity as he takes on a larger role in the House. For these efforts, I wish to award him as he advances towards the rank of Equite I.

Since his last recognition, Derek has participated in 13 competitions, logged 3 PvP Matches, and penned 4 Fiction Activities (8107 words!). In that same time, he has collected numerous awards for his efforts: 3 Crescents (1 Cr-D, 1 Cr-A, 1 Cr-S), 9 Clusters of Fire, 22 Clusters of Ice, and 5 Clusters of Earth. In addition, he has accepted a role to serve House Excidium by assisting our Gaming Community. While the work has not, yet, seen fruition, he is working alongside his mentor to develop Gaming competitions for the Clan, create tools to assist our Gamers, and provide support amongst our most played platforms and games. I also see Derek active in both Clan and Battle Team Chat; not just idly chatting, but having conversations with his peers about his entries and encouraging them to participate, as well.

House Excidium and Clan Scholae Palatinae require members like Derek to rebuild to its former glory. Without individuals that are this passionate, this willing to help, and - ultimately - active... we cannot thrive. Thank you for being such a remarkable member, Derek. I look forward to continuing your path towards Equite I.
