Seer Tisto Kingang
Steel Cross
Requested by
Lieutenant Colonel Alethia Archenksova
Primary reason

Tisto is yet another solid and consistent member of House Hoth. He is more than a constant presence in the every facet of the House, Clan and even in the greater DJB wide community. You can always find him chatting in the DB fiction, House and Clan telegram channels. In fact, he is kind enough to serve us all coffee in the morning. Then again I think that's to prevent us from killing such a wide-eyed morning person.

His help on the Hoth wiki project has been a steady stream of activity and he is always one of the first people to volunteer his services for his fellow clan mates. It's great to see such a young member take pride in his clan and do all he can to make it a great place to be.

Like us, all Tisto has had a very busy real life schedule with senior year of high school but he still managed to organize 1 competition and participate in 68 competitions as well. In which, he earned himself 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 7 Emerald Stars, 5 Topaz Stars, 1 Quartz Star, 2 Pendants of Blood, 15 Clusters of Fire, 54 Clusters of Ice, 73 Clusters of Earth and 5 Clusters of Graphite.

His record shows he will not shy away from any activity within the club and it's for these reasons and for his unending House Spirit that I'm proud to award Tisto his 1st Steel Cross of his DJB career!

Additional reasons

Whilst Edgar covered the record of activity for Tisto Kingang, I can only speak of the tenacious young man I've come to know this past month. From the moment I stepped into the position, Tisto has been very helpful and welcoming despite his busy schedule. It may have been roughly ten years, but I clearly recall the headaches and stress brought on by my final year of High School... I don't think I would have been able to participate anywhere near the amount Tisto has, despite that.

He's a proud member of Hoth, polite and generous and willing to put in hard work to see that both the House and Clan succeed. Despite the unnatural cheerful behavior in the morning hours (let's face it, it's not natural :P), Tisto is very patient whilst I imbibe copious amounts of caffeine in order to communicate beyond grunts and glares. To be frank, I'm both worried and looking forward to his increased activity and volunteer work once he's finally graduated.

Tisto, it's been a pleasure meeting you and congratulations on your first ever Steel Cross!

His excellent ACC efforts have already been enumerated, but I'd like to add that he has done a wonderful job not only completing these matches but also applying the feedback from ACC judges. As an ACC judge myself, I want to stress that this is nice to see. These ACC matches often take place because a member of the Clan needs someone to fight, which makes this activity all the better. In addition, I'd like to further commend his community spirit. As Rollmistress I often put up Clan Odan-Urr development questions that are voluntary but highly recommended. Tisto has willingly answered these for all of his various characters. Not everyone answers these, but this helps drive connections between clan members and it is greatly appreciated.

I think that both of these points are great examples of his dedication to the club and his Clan. Congratulations on your newest award and thank you for all the hard work you put into this club!

Tisto is one of those members who's well-known far beyond his home unit. He has consistently been one of the most active participants in both Fiction Chat and the various COU channels for well over a year. His famous for his high energy and constant drive to contribute to his unit and the Brotherhood as a whole.

One item that's particularly close to might heart is Tisto's high activity in the ACC. He frequently tosses out open challenges and is aiming for a win in the upcoming GJW ACC event. With 7 completed matches since his last recognition under his belt, he's in the top few most active ACCers for 2017.

Keep up the good work, kid!
