Primary reason: Malik is an institution in Naga Sadow. Always a pillar of stability and a role model to the younger members, Malik can consistently be counted upon when the Call to Arms is sung.

Since his last recognition, Malik participated in sixteen competitions bringing in a solid roundup of 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 2 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star and 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars. Further, Malik participated in five events of the recent Great Jedi War to bring in five Seals of Wrath and performed so well he was awarded a Bronze Nova - one of the few Novae awarded to the Clan during the event. Among these competitions, Malik also brought in six Clusters of Fire and one Cluster of Ice from two PvP matches and one Fiction activity with one RO poster of four hundred fourteen words. Always bettering himself, he also completed one course to add two degrees to his wall of certificates.

Malik has been in this club for over seventeen years and is still around and kicking ass. He is perhaps the best example of a long-term Brotherhood member that I've ever come across and I hope to some day have the legacy that he has. This award may seem modest when compared to the array he's already got displayed on his dossier, but I think it goes to show that even an "old-timer" loves this Club enough to remain active, competitive and, most importantly, positive. Additional reasons: Good ole Treebeard... errr... Malik. Malik does a great job competing and turning in competition submissions when the clans rep is on the line and even when it isnt. He is an olde but a goody and he has always been a good guy in general for others in Telegram and even, dun dun dun, Mirc. Yes he is old enough to remember the dark times but now we reward him for the good times.

Malik has been working behind the scenes to help set up the possessions that Naga Sadow has for its 2018 storyline. GJW XII has set up the opportunity for CNS to lose a lot of its current possessions and Malik, along with Locke, have spent hours discussing different ideas and spamming me with them.

Malik is one of our veterans I can rely on to have an opinion, yet still be open to others. He is not selfish, he is not pigheaded. If he sees an injustice, he speaks out.

For his work since his last reward and the hours put into helping me create a realistic possessions set up for 2018 (Not yet bought until after the first event where they all get destroyed), I'd like to see Malik awarded the Dark Cross.
