Primary reason

One of the former Tarentum members to make their way over to Plagueis, Thanadd has proved a welcome addition to our community. In the time since his last promotion, Thanadd has worked both as a dedicated member, participating in activity, and as a leader and ACC judge providing activity.

In total since his last promotion on the front of individual activity, Thanadd has organised 5 competitions, participated in 48. His participation during the Great Jedi War did his former clan good service, awarding him 6 Seals of Wrath. His overall placements in competitions have netted him 2 Crescents with Ruby Star, 2 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 9 Crescent with Sapphire Star, 2 Crescent with Emerald Star, 2 Crescents with Topaz Star and a Scholar of the Legion. Additionally, he has passed three Shadow Academy courses and gained 2 degrees from his efforts as well as graded an exam. On the gaming front he has acquired 7 Pendants of Blood and 12 Clusters of Fire from 4 PvO activities. For his writing efforts he has earned 11 Clusters of Ice from 1 ACC Battle, 3 Run On posts, and 5 other fiction activities. In addition to all that, he has earned 3 Scrolls of Foundation and 1 Seal of Loyalty.

In the area of leadership, his work was well documented by his former Consul Sith Bloodfyre. In Tarentum, Thanadd served as a Battleteam Leader for 2 months, an Aedile for 3 months, and Quaestor of House Mortis for 5 months. He served as an integral part of Tarentum's leadership structure for ten months. He was actively involved in the Clan's Sunday leadership training meeting held on Telegram and served to mentor newer members into the ACC, bridging his work as an ACC Judge with that of House summit member. He posted three reports to put information into the hands of his members in addition to keeping a visible presence on Telegram for them as well. His work as a leader was documented in the Steel Cross recommendation he was awarded in December, showing him to be an active and contributing member of Tarentum's summit.

Thanadd Mawgath has spent the time since his last elevation in March of 2017 being an active member of the Brotherhood as well as being a dedicated leader. His efforts to this point show him to be ready for advancement, taking the last step to his elevation to Equite 2.

Additional reasons

Thanadd Mawgath was something of a hail mary pass for the ACC. He was a member without a bevy of experience like others but he had enthusiasm, drive, and a willingness to improve. It was those very traits that became so infectious for both members and staff. As a judge, Thanadd completed a signle graded ACC exam and he judged 6 matches total, this was during a time when judgements were so detailed in the comments that it could take anywhere from 2-3 hours to complete a single judgement as an experienced judge. However, he never shied away from them. Thanadd's excitement bled through in his style and the members responded, coming straight to me to share how much they enjoyed his feedback and style.

That's a rare thing to have in the ACC, and just shows how his effort bled through in the best of ways. I was, and still am, grateful for the personality and willingness to dive in that he brought to the team, and I look forward to seeing that again as he shares it to those around him in his clan and his efforts.

Atra Ventus
Combat Master of the Brotherhood

Throughout two decades in the Brotherhood, there are those rare people that I don't generally lose contact with. Or, in the case of Thanadd, I lose contact with them, only to reignite a burgeoning friendship as though there was no gap. I was fortunate as a Consul to gain an adept member and capable leader such as he. Thanadd had already spent a great deal of time in both the Brotherhood and Tarentum when he returned, so he immediately went to work. That was incredible to see.

Thanadd stood as an example, to myself, to all of us. He was dedicated to write, motivate to succeed, and wanted to achieve greatness. He saw an avenue in the ACC, and it was my intention that, had Tarentum survived, I'd have put together a small team of ACC "coaches" to guide the formation and activity of a specific ACC team to get Tarentum back into the swing of things. Thanadd took to this task with eagerness. Thanadd takes to any task with eagerness, enthusiasm and excitement.

He is often said to be "emotional," but I believe a better term would be "passionate." There is a fire that burns deep within him, and makes him want to push others to be as active and giving within this Club as we all can be. With his level of energy, and Tahiri's youthful enthusiasm, I was excited to see what the capability of Mortis would have been. And now, with the two of them in Plagueis, I believe the talent and wisdom of the Plagia and the amazing membership of that Clan will push the two of them to greater heights.

Thanadd is motivated. He is exceptional. He is energetic. He knows how amazing the Brotherhood has been for each of us, and he shares that passion and drive with all of those around him. I am excited for him to be in such a good place as Plagueis, and I am grateful for that Clan's drive, and Slagar's dedication, in seeing him promoted.
