Alaisy joined the Herald staff as a Magistrate almost two months ago and has made invaluable contributions to the office since day one. Our biggest project of the new year was our Spring 2019 release, where we created and deployed 159 new images for the Brotherhood dossier skin selectors. Each staff member was assigned the creation of at least one unique skin, and Alaisy volunteered to deliver two unique robe skins (or so I thought!), one male and one female variant. Instead she actually produced 4 unique skins (male and female versions of two separate robe designs) and delivered 60 individual robe graphics which constituted nearly 40% of the total release. In addition, she also completed a custom robe request on top of her assigned work for our quarterly release.

Robes are, by far, the most time consuming work that the Herald staff is responsible for. In all the time I've spent serving the office, both as a Magistrate and as Herald, I've never seen a new staff member come on board and make more significant and impressive contributions in so short a time. In addition, she has been an active participant in office discussions and has provided input and feedback to other members of the staff on their parts of our release. Finally, she has been an active presence in the DB Art Chat telegram group, driving discussion and activity there that helps build the DJB art community as a whole. It is my great pleasure to present her with this award, the first of what I know will be many more.
