Primary reason

Vaeril Aeraeth came to Clan Plagueis in the latter half of 2019. I say this only because Plagueis’ more active members tend to be those with longer stints in the clan. Vaeril, more commonly known as Kris, is bucking that trend and is showing what a change of scenery can do for a member’s fortunes and activity.

Vaeril really does do everything, and looking at his activity since his last recognition will show that. Eager to give back to the community, Vaeril has organised 8 competitions in 6 and a half months. During the same time period, he has not been unwilling to dive into the action, participating in 77 competitions with 35% of his entries resulting in a Crescent. Vaeril was able to place in competitions across 4 different events, 2 of which he ended up in the top 3 overall placements, being the DB-wide Nightmare Before Sithmas Returns and the House level Tyranus: Grand Opening. This just goes to show that Vaeril isn’t content with just taking part, he wants to do well and is often rewarded for his efforts.

A gamer through and through, Vaeril has amassed 270 Clusters of Fire and 38 Clusters of Earth from only 48 PvE activities which is an average of just under 6.5 clusters per activity, highlighting that Vaeril is a valued member of the club’s gaming community. Not just content to be defined as a gamer, Vaeril has dipped his toes into the SA and the writing scene while matching his gaming output on the graphics front, earning 40 Clusters of Graphite.

Vaeril is also a good initiator of conversation and helps breathe life into the Plagueis chat as well as being willing to give feedback on ideas when the summit asks for member feedback on ideas or events we’ve run. This isn’t something every member is comfortable with yet Vaeril steps up and proves that he is a valuable asset to Plagueis.

It is for these reasons I believe Vaeril Aeraeth is deserving of a Steel Cross.
