I am not lying when I say I've been looking forward to this day. Reiden Karr has been one of the most devout and outstanding members of Clan Scholae Palatinae. Looking at the metrics since his last promotion, Reiden has competed in 194 competitions, participated in 29 fictional activities with a total of 77,834 words written. He has received numerous awards which include: 1 Grand Cross, 2 Steel Crosses, 4 Gold Nova, 2 Silver Nova, 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 9 Crescents with Ruby Star, 24 Crescent with Amethyst Star, 28 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 12 Crescents with Emerald Star, 4 Crescents with Topaz Star, 175 Clusters of Ice, 37 Clusters of Graphite, 1 Scroll of the Master, 6 Legions of the Scholar, 22 Seals of Fury, 12 Seals of Discord, and 7 Seals of Vision. He also held the position of Battleteam Leader for eight months, and passed 4 SA courses.

Outside of the metrics, Reiden has been a phenomenal and members to have. In the clan channel, he is constantly engaged with fellow members, and is always ready to lend a hand to individuals or the clan in general. When new members have come to CSP, Reiden always helps them to feel welcome, and encourages them in all they do as they integrate into the clan and learn the basics. Reiden further exemplified this when he took on Kah'ri Marru as his apprentice of whom he was with every step of the way until Kah'ri made it to knighthood.

Overall, I can say that CSP has benefitted so much from this amazing individual and all he does. From being extremely active in both comps and the CSP channel, to reaching out to others to help them and making sure newer members feel welcome and at home in the clan, Reiden Karr is truly one of the most exceptional people I've ever met during my time in the DJB. It's been an honor to watch him grow since I first joined, and now being able to recommend this promotion is an even greater honor that I am more than proud to do. There are very few people like Reiden. Humble (definitely excessively), hard-working, dedicated, and helpful. Whenever I think about him, I think about a member that is a pillar of our community, both in terms of regular activity and assisting other members. He is definitely a role model of a leader without a position.

Mere numbers speak how Reiden has been active since his last promotion.74 Crescents ranging from 4 Crescents with Topaz Star to 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 4 Gold Novae, 2 Silver Novae, 175 Clusters of Ice, 37 Clusters of Graphite, 6 Legions of the Scholar, 22 Seals of Fury, 12 Seals of Discord, and 7 Seals of Vision. It all adds to 194 competitions that he has participated in. It clearly proves that Reiden is not only reliable in a high level of activity, but also in the quality of his entries, which provide him regular top 3 placements.

Reiden constantly grumbles about the quality of his entries, especially to fiction competitions, but the fact that he places in such competitions proves that he is definitely wrong in his claims. It only means that we are fabulously lucky to have him among active members of our Clan. I envy him and his writing skills as he always beat me whenever we enter the same competition.

Apart from the very high level of activity maintained for over two years and a half (over 1 competition entry per week on average!), Reiden has proved to be substantially resourceful to the whole Clan. He has quite recently assisted Kah’ri Marru on his way to the rank of Journeyman 4. More importantly, he is more than eager to help other members of Scholae Palatinae. He guided recently returned Thran to create his Character Sheet, explaining how the Possessions system works. Anyone requesting proofreading or brainstorm ideas will always receive help from Reiden.

Reiden is a person with an extremely positive attitude to other people. Polite, well-mannered, and helpful. I know I can always count on Reiden's advice and help. In addition to that, Reiden has served as a Battleteam Leader for eight months, organizing a competition for Battleteam Krennic.

I believe that Reiden is more than ready to get a well-deserved promotion to the rank of Equite 4 for his contributions to Clan Scholae Palatinae. It is my honor to recommend him for the promotion that he has earned a very long time ago.

Reiden is a pillar of CSP and has been so for years. This promotion is well deserved and a long time coming. I have known Reiden for close to 8 years and he has always been an active, committed, and impactful member of the Clan.

First, the metrics. Reiden has taken part in 194 competitions, written nearly 80,000 words of fiction, 5000 words of run-on, 29 ACC matches, and 4 SA courses. Reiden was a BTL for an 8 month period and actively helped to lead and shoulder the mantle of keeping the Clan alive. For his efforts, Reiden has been awarded a staggering array of recognition to include 1 GC, 2 SC, 4 GN, 2 SN, 78 Crescents, 175 COI, 37 COG, 1 Scroll of the Master, 6 Legion of the Scholar, and 41 Seals.

WOW. Beyond the metrics and levels of activity, we must discuss the man and his impact on CSP. Reiden is ALWAYS involved with leading discussion and keeping interest and debate going in the Telegram channels, email channels, and other avenues. Reiden always asks pointed questions and ultimately holds the rest of the Summit accountable and keeps us honest in our day-to-day activities. It is fair, and true, to say that Reiden is in many ways the heart and the compass for CSP.

What else needs to be said? The guy’s record speaks for itself, as do all other Summit members. I’m not going to repeat all of his achievements, but rather speak on Reiden himself.

Reiden is a person who engages not only with other members, but he engages with his own identity in and outside of fiction. Reiden is a powerhouse of activity and discussion. He’s never one note. You’ll find him working towards a better version of himself every day. He’s present and willing to speak up.

He would never see himself deserving of this. So Reiden: don’t listen to the self-saboteur. You are deserving of this. You have done so much for our Clan, and your loyalty knows no bounds. Your voice matters and we are listening.

Not much more needs to be said for Reiden honestly. But as Rollmaster I must say, he has been a truly invaluable member any time a new member comes into the Clan. He is one of the first to welcome them in the TG chat and is ALWAYS around to Answer each and every question they may have. When asked to volunteer to be a Master for Kah'ri, he stepped up and took it all on. Through his guidance, Kah'ri rose quickly through the ranks and the praise Reiden has received from his student was truly remarkable. It was exactly the type of feedback I would expect from such a well-rounded member of the Brotherhood. The bond Reiden makes with new members in general and his assistance in creating their characters shows how much this man cares about this Clan and Club. This is a well deserved promotion. Congrats Reiden!
