I’ve been in Odan-Urr for the better part of six years now, and I’ve watched members come and members go. Jafits is one of the very few who have been a constant presence during that entire time span. He was one of the first people to welcome me in as the Striketeam Ooroo BTL and he continues to be one of my most active and reliable members today. Since reaching EQ3 in July 2015, Jafits has participated in 281 competitions and organized or co-organized 7 more. That included showing up for his clan in three Great Jedi Wars and a Rite of Supremacy, earning 64 seals and 4 novae for his participation in those events. Likewise, he participated in 15 competitions in the recent feud with Plagueis, earning a 5th place finish for himself and 169 points for his clan.

Jscumm is best known as a gamer, as evidenced by his nearly 5000 gaming clusters, 18 PoBs, and at least four GMRG leaderboard placements since his last promotion. However, in the past year he has also revealed himself as a top notch artist, earning 157 Clusters of Graphite for his output. He’s also been very successful in the Shadow Academy, completing 35 courses and earning 3 Maven and 2 Pundit degrees. 22 Clusters of Ice and 6 Legions of the Scholar round out his output. He has earned 120 crescents.

I’ve somehow never managed to help recognize Jafits in any of the seven merit awards, including a Grand Cross, that the COU summit has awarded him in the past five years. Hopefully I can make up for that now. Congrats, Jscumm, and welcome to the EQ4 club!

Though I have only recently become Clanmates with Jafits, I have known him through DBGaming and Heroes of the Storm for the length of the games lifespan in the Brotherhood. He has always been someone who happily jumps in with any gaming group, happy to submit activity or simply participate. As a newer member of Odan-Urr I have begun to see that Jafits activity with the Club at large is just as prevalent within the Clan itself.

Jafits continues to impress again and again. For major events, he is there for you. For small events, he is there for you. For everyday competitions, he is there for you. For gaming, he is there for you. For community events, he is there for you. Jafits isn't the loudest chatterbox but if I've learned anything about him its that he lets his actions do the talking. He is simply there for you.

A consistent presence can be hard to maintain but Jafits makes it look easy. I'd like to spotlight a few examples related to his support to Odan-Urr. First, since his last promotion, he has attended 10 community events, which is huge because the more people attend the more it attracts others. As a steadfast attendee , of particularly trivia jams, he helped us grow a consistent attendance. Second, he provided art to the clan when it needed it most on short notice. We needed some fiction header art for our upcoming [COU-PLA] feud and he really came through for us. Third, during the most recent [COU-PLA] feud acquired 5th place overall and was the 5th Feud Hero.

Jafits is in short a treasured piece of Odan-Urr's community and a wonderful Odanite and friend. On behalf of Odan-Urr, thank you for all the time and effort you put into this club and this clan. We truly appreciate it. Congratulations on your promotion!
