Primary reason

Reiden Karr continues to be an absolute monster of a Magistrate. He lives and breathes his Magistrate duties, keeping up on the queue for sheets, often in under a minute of being submitted. He has an encyclopedic memory of the CS system nuances, and is very rapidly able to make good judgment calls on remands, or approvals. It is a very rare occurrence that I myself manage to get to a sheet before him, and especially so one that doesn't already have the “issue” for remand already posted in the thread on discord for discussion.

Since his last staff award, Reiden is responsible for some 487 sheet approvals for members. That is 35.19% of all sheet approvals in this time, and 66.26% of all manual approvals required. He is also responsible for a total of 77 different remands to members, helping them with issues, or improvements needed to be made.

He help goes beyond the sheet system on the site, as he is a constant presence in nearly all of the clan chatrooms on Discord. He quickly catches when people are talking about the CS system and is ready both with insightful answers and links to useful areas on the wiki to help the members with their issues. This is something I’ve had numerous members comment and specifically message me about how helpful it has been.

All in all Reiden takes his magistrate job very seriously, professionally, and with a gusto I’ve never seen matched from another member. Congrats Reiden, and thank you for being so good at what you do.

Additional reasons

When I last submitted a Ruby Scepter for Reiden I was in awe at the amount of XP he had generated over his many years with the Brotherhood. You can imagine my surprise when I looked again and saw that he had enough XP for a second!

Reiden has recently concluded his first tenure as a Quaestor for Acclivis Draco. I commend Reiden for taking on this challenge and growing beyond his comfort zone. Leadership is a hard path for people to walk and Reiden navigated it with his usual charm and approach.

He learned a lot in terms of engaging with the members as their primary contact, the challenges of how to create competitions that are engaging, drive some plot for the House, and trying to get members to engage with the competition. Some of successful, some are not, and the lessons learned from both will help Reiden.

I sincerely hope Reiden returns to leadership in the future as he has the talent for it and he's naturally respected by the membership. It's like he's the lovable gentle giant that's in your local comic shop and regardless of what you pick up he knows about it, shares your passion for it, and can help you expand your interest.

I cannot stress how much I appreciate Reiden. He's made me a better leader by challenging me to keep myself focused on our members and I hope that he never loses that focus!

Congratulations Reiden!
