If there is anyone who has earned a relaxing retirement, it’s Magda, aka Ji. Ji helped found COU and has never stopped giving to the Clan over the years.
Since his last award Ji has participated in 45 competitions, securing 12 Crescents for placement in those competitions. He also secured 12 Clusters of Ice and 16 Clusters of Graphite for fiction and graphics activity. During the GJW Ji managed 9 submissions across a variety of bins, proving that no matter how old you are, in COU we all lift as one. Ji even found time to tear up the Shadow Academy a little bit with 7 courses and 4 degrees.
Aside from site-tracked activities, Ji has been an invaluable elder statesman for the Clan, whether it’s helping advise and prop up our young leaders or more specifically taking the initiative to prepare a detailed clan climate survey after the war which proved invaluable in collecting data for the current and incoming summits to hone in on what we were doing well and what we could, as a clan, do better to improve the experience of our members. I’ve had several younger members reach out to me to give thanks for the opportunity to have their voices heard by the summit and that positive impact on our clan morale only happened because of Ji’s initiative.
Please accept this small token of gratitude on behalf of the Clan that you continue to give so much for. You are among the best of us and continue to inspire future generations of Odanites.
