It is my pleasure to recommend Taurus for promotion to Equite 2. Since his promotion to EQ1, Taurus has continued to demonstrate exactly the sort of activity, leadership, and commitment that we should expect from someone progressing through the Equite ranks. His record over this period is not simply one of participation, but of consistently contributing to the Brotherhood in a variety of ways while continuing to develop himself as a member and leader.

Taurus has been an exceptionally active member during this period, participating in 41 activities while also organizing 8 competitions and events and co-organizing another. His leadership experience has also grown considerably. With five months as QUA, taking on one of the more important leadership positions within his Clan, especially during a vendetta. Taurus has also continued to invest in his own development. He has completed 10 courses and earned 2 degrees. That continued personal development is particularly appropriate for someone advancing through the Equite ranks, where growth should be measured not only by activity but also by the effort made to become a more capable and well-rounded member.

His award record further reinforces the quality and consistency of his contributions. Since reaching Equite 1, Taurus has earned a Sapphire Blade, Steel Cross, and Anteian Cross, along with a variety of competition and activity awards. He has accumulated 822 Clusters of Fire, as well as additional Clusters of Ice, and earned six Seals of Transcendence and six Seals of Animosity. He has also earned a Seal of Loyalty.

Perhaps most importantly, Taurus's record shows consistency. He has remained active, continued learning, organized activities for others, taken on leadership responsibilities, and continued earning recognition for his contributions. There is a clear progression from his previous promotion to where he stands today, and his accomplishments demonstrate that he has continued to grow into the expectations of the Equite ranks.

Promotions should recognize not only what a member has accomplished, but the trajectory they are demonstrating. Taurus is showing exactly the kind of trajectory we want to encourage: continued activity, increasing leadership responsibility, personal development, and meaningful contributions to those around him. His record since reaching Equite 1 makes it clear that he has earned the opportunity to take the next step.

For all of these reasons, I am proud to support Taurus's promotion to Equite 2. He has put in the work, demonstrated his commitment, and earned this advancement. I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes in the next stage of his Brotherhood career.

Taurus is a solid member of the club, with high activity across multiple pillars of the Club, including staff work, when time permits the man. He has done well in multiple competitions, including having run numerous of his own, and was a valued member of the Summit during his run as QUA. While real life may have kept him busy, he still was a strong and valued member of Vizsla and well deserves this promotion, proving his capabilities within the Brotherhood.

What a remarkable day it is today, because today we get to recognize and celebrate the efforts of Taurus with he rise to the next Equite level, something he's been working towards for over three years. While activity and merits are important factors for any promotion, I'd like to add to the character of this recommendation. While I have not known Taurus for long, the timing of his entry into the Vizsla summit was at a critical turning point for the unit's development and I feel I got a good measure of the man. Having just recently returned to the clan from rogues, Taurus impressed me with his immediate activity upon returning and then later that month letting me know he was interested in Quaestor. This is what we look for in Equites, as Idris points out, someone that not only engages with the content and community but then rises to the challenge of leadership. It's great to see this in Taurus. And stepping into the role of Wren Quaestor was no easy task, the shoes to fill were quite large but Taurus did well to to adapt and needed little direction in picking up what was needed. To add to this, with English as his second language, Taurus overcame a barrier to our community that so few are able to do and not only was proofing clan documents and lore but also going outside his comfort by grading fiction competitions. Finally, while real life was taking a toll, Taurus wasn't one to back down from a challenge and I'm glad that he attempted to continue on assisting the community while going through so many changes in his real life. Alas, while it was unfortunate to have to accept his resignation, for the time he was on the summit of the clan I want to acknowledge just how much of a boon he was to us. These are attributes listed above should be celebrated and I'm glad for the timing of this recommendation so we can mark them amongst why Taurus has been a great presence in Vizsla and deserving of the next rank in the Equite class. Congrats Taurus and thank you again for all your work and efforts, I look forward to a time when you can return to Vizsla and be embraced as the brother you are to us.
