Although belated, I think it is necessary to award Strategos for his stellar work during the Great Jedi War. Stepping up to the plate was something we urged as a summit and Strategos never failed to provide. Although expected of the Arconae, Strategos went above and beyond the call of duty to assist and attend to the summit for their every need. Having lost our Consul to the constraints of real life, Strategos stepped up to the plate, acting as a temporary summit member in order to provide the fullest support when the Clan was most in need. Similarly, he was more than happy to aid the general membership with proofing and structuring.

Having participated in 23 events, he acquired two Gold, three Silver and one Bronze Novae for his efforts. This exemplifies, beyond all else, his ability to not only participate, but also provide exceptional pieces of work whilst continuing to maintain a foothold in the summit dealings.

Through this process of osmosis between the membership and the summit Strategos has clearly met the criteria for the Grand Cross if not in the official capacity as a leader, then as a reifying force to the many strata of the summit. His position as a de facto summit leader leaves little to the imagination; late nights, hard graft and a gallon of coffee a day, yet he carried on with no want of reward and without a single negative comment. He has been, without a doubt, one of the most shocking but nevertheless instrumental members of Arcona during this war and it is for this reason that I would like to recommend him for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

The highest praise I think you can give to any member of a group like the Brotherhood is that they eschewed personal ambitions and glory for the betterment of their compatriots. Few people did this more than Strat. Yes, he managed to garner an impressive 23 Seals of Decimation during the course of the war, but above and beyond this he was constantly there for his clanmates. I can't begin to total the number of hours he spent ignoring competitions that could have garnered him awards in favor of assisting others. From proofing ACC posts and fiction and critiquing graphics submissions, to teaching a couple of non-gamers like Wally and myself how to do more than get killed in JA and RC, he truly did put the needs of his Clan over his own. Coupling this with the sheer insanity of his own participation more than merits the awarding of a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.
