I feel that most of what I would wish to say has been covered already, but I will attempt to embellish this even more if I can. Within the medal recommendation guidelines it states that the Grand Cross of the Dark Side is awarded to '... those having achieved an outstanding amount of general activity over the course of time, this award may also be given to reward such accomplishments.' So in essence, it was an award crafted, almost destined, for Socorra. This woman is magical. Sublime, almost. Rising through the ranks at record speed and leaving a cloud of awesome in her wake. She has single-handedly pushed the barriers of what one could and should expect from a Quaestor. She is exemplary in her work and always approaches every situation with her head held high, no matter how tedious.

This woman deserves recognition not only for her work, but for being a trendsetter within Arcona. I dare say without her enthusiasm, Arcona wouldn't be where it is today.

I actually laughed out loud when it was brought to my attention that Socorra hadn't received a Merit medal of any kind in the past 7 months. That's 7 months in which she has, in typical Socorra fashion sprouted up through the ranks as Battleteam Leader of Shadow Gate, to Aedile and then Queastor of House Qel-Droma. We apparently overlooked the fact that she is one of the few members to receive double field promotion during the war. I would like to remedy that with a Grand Cross, and believe that Socks has more than earned it.

Not only has she climbed the ladder and taken on leadership within the Arconan Summit at an impossible pace - she has not at all sat still or idle. She has pushed projects forward and has been the forefront of making sure that her members and those of Arcona as a whole get what they deserve. I feel a certain twinge of pride, as her mentor, every-time I'm asked to write recommendation for her. But the fact remains that I will never grow tired of writing recommendations for her, because she will continue to set an example for what it is to be a member of the dark brotherhood, as well as a leader that others should strive to be like. Even in her relative inexperience in her position, she is never afraid to take on a task, or ask questions that others are either scared or intimidated to ask.

Socorra was an active participant in the Trials of Loyalty, placing 10th overall. She has been flexing her arm in gaming on top of everything, while making sure to stay on top of her summit and training up her former apprentice and now Aedile, Scelestus.

The sky is the limit for Socorra, and I would not honestly be surprised to see her sitting on the DC one day.

A Grand Cross is a acknowledgment of a members dedication and hard work over a period of time, an award that I am honoured to be recommending to Socorra who is worth of such a merit medal. This reward is for her hard work and dedication not only to Clan Arcona but to her position as Quaestor and her House, Qel-Droma.

She has been working none stop on the improvement of her house and clan. And despite obstacles coming up in the past, she has overcome them to make Qel-Droma an active and prominent part of Clan Arcona. She never once has been seeking reward for herself in any situation she puts the members before her, inspiring those around her to take part in competitions and strives to achieve the highest level of activity possible. And while helping members she still finds the time to make sure that her leaders are keeping up with their responsibilities to their battle teams or the house, driving and motivating all of us as well as support us with anything that we need help with. She has participated in Trials of Loyalty, being an active part in the three week event, and participating in the competitions, showing herself as active as well as pushing herself and her team to do as much as possible in the time given to them.

Overall if I could see one person deserving of a Grand Cross of the Dark Side that would be Krath Priestess Socorra Erinos. Her hard work has not gone unnoticed by the Clan, as well as her strive to perfect herself and members. Your hard work and dedication to Clan Arcona and House Qel-Droma has not gone unnoticed.

Socorra has been extraordinary every moment of her membership in Arcona. As I'm writing this, it's been just over a year since she has joined the Brotherhood and in particular, that little slice of it called Arcona. From the start, she was an amazing member, shooting up the ranks to Priestess and Quaestor. However, those parts of her DJB career have been amply spoken of. I need not mention her vibrancy, sociability or maturity as a leader, since those are all things everyone knows her for.

What I'm going to be focusing on is that Socorra is an amazing member of the ACC. She graduated in one try and less than a week of time: a rare thing in a Brotherhood that has strict demands for its new ACCers. From there, she immediately shot up the Vendetta, destroying almost everyone she encountered and making a fourth place (behind three current and former Combat Masters) in her very first round of ACC participation.

After this, she was recruited as a Staff Member, deftly judging a series of matches and helping to shape ACC policy in discussions of, among other things, possible DJB weapon selections. Additionally, she fought in the latest Championship Ladder and in there managed to make it to the semi-finals, beating several experienced opponents.

Frankly, Socorra's ACC activities alone would merit her being awarded. The fact that she has done so while consistently providing the highest calibre of Clan leadership, helping the strongest Clan of the Brotherhood become somehow even more amazing, tells me that she is worthy of, at the very least, this small token of esteem.
