Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana
Primary reason

Over two year ago, Koskian was promoted to the rank of Exarch. In the time since, he has taken on the Aedile and Quaestor while currently being a Battleteam Leader in House Galeres. I can easily say that when in those positions, Psyko did a wonderful job with them, and continues to do a superb job leading Soulfire. All of that is true, and gives one a glimpse of what type of member Koskian is. However, it is what he does for the Clan as a whole, not just the positions he holds, that really proves his worth.

For these 2 years, Koskian has stepped into whatever role has been asked of him, and a few others that haven’t. He has been an exemplary “veteran”, a man who backs up his words with action. While many give lip service to being long-standing members of the Clan, Koskian has actually dove in and ensured that the Clan continues to grow and prosper. What he has done to improve morale, as well as nurture many of the newer members, cannot be completely stated in words. However, the Clan would be a different place had he not been around to help it.

However, he has also proven himself to be a capable member in terms of activity. In this GJW alone, he has been one of the top participants in Arcona as well as managing to also be one of it’s highest placers as well. He helped out the Clan in the previous Feud with Taldryan, and has been a tremendous force in multiplayer since returning to the DB from the rogues. His activity alone over the course of the years is worthy of an award.

Altogether however, Koskian I deserving of the elevation to the very top of the Equites. His dedication to the Clan has made him indispensable, and worthy of such accolades.

Dark Jedi Master Halcyon Rokir Arconae Consul of Arcona

Koskian… He has been the leader of Soulfire for just over 2 months. So, my Sergeant. I am a terribly picky battle team member, I do not have time for people to play at being a leader. Yet Kosk has managed to live up to even my expectations, leading the team with great care for each and every member, always ready with a kind word, a nudge, kick or even a long speech if the occasion required it.

Although, he has become more than just another battle team leader, he is a friend to every member of the team. Motivating every single one of us to give our best at all times, encouraging us to excel beyond what even we thought was possible. He is what every leader should be, always available, always ready to help whether it is DB related, or real life. If he doesn't have answers, he'll find them for you. He takes the time to know exactly what is going on with each of us. If someone is not around for longer than a usual absence, he'll be the first to ask where that person disappeared to.

He's taken the time to help me, Odin and Malidir with JA and JO, I know he has also played BF2 with some team members. Constantly creating opportunities for us to experience new types of games and game play, such as the whole afternoon he spent teaching us the ins-and-outs of JO CTF. He also took the time explaining the RPG to us, since none of us had done it before, not once getting frustrated with our many questions. He has a way to teach you things without making you feel like you're an idiot. That's a rare thing these days.

Kosk makes Soulfire a great team to be in. We've had a great time with this war, Malidir, Nadrin, Kresh'taa, Karel and myself earning a Nova of some sorts for our trouble. It would not have been possible without his constant barrage of encouragement and persuasion to keep at it, to keep going. Even with a battle team to keep active, he still makes time to have ACC battles, play in gaming nights, run the Arcona trivia and juggle real life responsibilities.

It has been a long time since his last promotion, a lot has happened in that time. But for his work with Soulfire alone, he is deserving of this. Keeping us going, active and happy is not easy, but he does it with ease and his own special kind of charm.
