Primary reason

I am proud and honored to submit the promotion request for Kazarelth Talismarr to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Kaz has served the Dark Brotherhood for one year with dediation and loyalty. His work in Clan Tarentum and his work for the Dark Brotherhood as DV Lead Editor have proven his merit and make him an exceptional candidate for Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations Kaz! GM Sarin

Kaz has been a very influential member of the Dark Voice Staff. Since I first took the job, he's been there everytime I needed something. I actually wanted to promote Kaz to Dark Jedi Knight a while back strictly for his Dark Voice work, but I was asked to wait.

Kaz holds the position of Senior Editor of the Dark Voice. That might not seem like a lot, but it really is. For the first two issues I ran, he edited every single article by himself. Not because he had to, but he just did. I would say he's easily edited 30 articles and counting so far, which again, is a lot of work. Not every article we get is written very well, but Kaz has a way of making them sound great and look even better.

Beyond editing, Kaz has played an important role in the evolution the Dark Voice has seen in the last few months. He's a great source of ideas, and has proven himself one of the most valuable members of the Dark Voice Staff. To put it in perspective, I'm not sure the DV would be where it is today if it weren't for the work Kaz has put into the Dark Voice.

All of this being said, it's hightime that Kaz is bestowed with his lightsaber. His dedication to the Dark Voice, Clan Tarentum, and the Brotherhood at large is no longer questionable, and the ammount of work he has put into this club have made this promotion over due.

Congratz, Kaz, I look forward to our continued relationship, and hope to welcome you to the Equite Ranks soon.

Kazarelth has successfully passed every trial I have set before him. It mattered not whether the task was incredibly mundane, such as sheer participation in existing competitions, or even of great annoyance, such as figuring out the workings of the ACC. Kazarelth even dealt with my own brand of humor, which admittedly can really get on one's nerves at times. (Kaza knows exactly which song I will play to celebrate this promotion). All was done without complaint and he conducted himself with the highest respect for all parties involved in his training. I am proud to be able to say "Yes, I know Kazarelth and I was a part of his ascension to Dark Jedi Knight." Congratulations. -- Saitou

I also agree with this request, please promote Kazarelth to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He's worked very hard the past few months and has more than earned his right to carry a lightsaber. Congratulations, Kaz! ~Kromtal

Kazarelth has been an exceptional member, and a valued leader in Tarentum since he has joined us. The Trials of Knighthood in Tarentum generally revolve around three tasks set before the Jedi Hunter, one by his mentor, one by his House Summit, and one by his Clan Summit. These Trials are sometimes bypassed by truly exceptional members; Kazarelth is one such member. His activity in the Great Jedi War is one of the reasons he was allowed to bypass much of the Trials. He set forth an amazing example not only for his House, but for the entire membership of Tarentum. He was pivotal in the first "Embrace of Pain" task put forward by the Dark Council, and competed in many different events. Even though Kazarelth was allowed to bypass some of the Trials, he did not bypass them all. Kazarelth worked hard as Saitou's apprentice, and completed tasks working with Saitou to increase his writing skills, as well as his leadership skills. Kazarelth has continued to serve his team, The Praxeum, and has also made a commitment to further the activity of others and assist with running Tarentum's History Month competition. The final Trial for Kazarelth that he recently completed was one that every member of Tarentum must accomplish before earning the rank of Knight. Every member is expected to "create" their own lightsaber, through a work of fiction. Some members have also added in graphics to really enhance the creation of their first lightsaber. Kazarelth's piece was written to standards that Saitou set before him, and the story is of good quality that can always be expected from Kaz. Kazarelth has spent almost exactly 5 months as a Jedi Hunter, and in that time, he has learned what we expected him to learn, not only learning to improve his skills to participate, but also improving himself as a leader and future Tarentae. I can say it easily that I expect Kazarelth to be offered the Clan name, and every honor and position that the Clan can afford him in the future. Congratulations, Kazarelth. I appreciate all of your work. -DJM Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae Consul, Clan Tarentum
