Primary reason

In nearly three months, Deatharoc has continued a pace of activity and dedication that he has put forward since the date he joined, approximately five and a half months ago, and he has exhibited that he is more than ready for both positions of leadership, as well as ranks of leadership, and I am happy to put him forward for this recommendation to Knighthood.

When Deatharoc first joined, he exhibited unusual talents for a new member. That is, one of the first things I saw from him was a competition approval form. He and his brother had created and submitted several competitions and ran them for House Gladius, which I was extremely pleased to see. Deatharoc has continued that practice, and is currently running several competitions, as well. His dossier shows that, since joining, he has run eight competitions, which is slightly more than one a month (which allowed for a break in running them during the GJW). Participating in competitions is a hope we have for all new members until they begin to get into leadership. Running competitions from the start is something above and beyond, and truly exhibits what kind of member Deatharoc has been.

Additionally, Deatharoc has also participated in a variety of competitions. Some of the best participation from him came from the GJW. Deatharoc received seven Seals from the Vendetta for participating in both writing and gaming events, and he helped to set an example for both new and veteran members alike.

Deatharoc has accepted a call to serve within House Gladius, and has done so in the past. When he noticed that the Praxeum team needed leadership due to Kazarelth leaving to become part of the Cestus Summit, Deatharoc stepped up to volunteer and assist the team as a leader, and now, he has exhibited a desire and ideas to work as a part of the House Summit.

Deatharoc has also shown an interest in helping us perfect the Trials as they occur in Tarentum, and has accepted my invitation to work with us as we enhance and expand them, and make them more relevant to the ideas and practices that we want to put forward to our newer members.

I can find many reasons to promote Deatharoc, and I have absolutely no doubt that there is not a single reason to hold him back at the rank of Jedi Hunter. He wad worked for months under the tutelage of Maxamillian von Oberst as a student, as has shown an increase in his writing and analyzing talent through interaction with Oberst. He has shown leadership on his own without need for encouragement, and truly acts within his House and Clan without seeking rewards. Deatharoc has shown that being able to give to his Clanmates is the reward in itself.

Deatharoc, thank you for all that you have done. Your leaders appreciate your work, and those you interact with in this Clan know how much of an example you are to all of us. Congratulations, my friend.
