Primary reason

Anga has done a tremendous job for as long as I've known her. Her dedication, her resolve and general attitude have left a mark on CSP. Numerous medals, running five different competions and heading the Royal Gazette are her accomplishments. Recently taking the reigns of the Dragon Guard, I feel she is ready for the next step in her training, becoming a full Krath Priestess. I hope she continues this standard of excellence in the future to come.

Exodius, Aedile of Acclivis Draco

When I think of Anga Salinas, I think of undying dedication and a fierce determination to succeed. I have known her by name for a couple of years (she actually joined #scholae about two years ago or so), and I have always heard great things about her from the dinosaurs who worked with her back in the Dark Ages. From what I hear, she has always been one of Acclivis Draco's greatest members.

And she continues that custom today.

When she rejoined, I was somewhat skeptical. I kind of knew her husband, Sharad, and I had chatted with her a few times, but I didn't know if she would be roster weight or a key player. She demonstrated, through sheer activity and creativity, that she was, and still is, a key player. Her role in several projects has been crucial to the Clan's success and perpetual forward motion.

From what she has told me, she joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood way back in 2001, but recently got back into the swing of things in late 2007. I have scoured the Internet for records detailing her progression through the club, but I, unfortunately, have been unsuccessful. All that I can tell you is that she was promoted to Dark Jedi Knight at least four years ago.

From her time in House Ektrosis, Clan Taldryan, in July 2007, to the now, she has amassed numerous awards: 15 Seals of Pain, 1 Steel Cross, 1 Dark Cross, 8 Crescents (3 Quartz, 2 Topaz, 2 Emerald, 1 Amethyst), 1 Silver Nova, 1 Legion of the Scholar, and 1 Dark Side Scroll. She has also completed thirteen Shadow Academy courses. Anga also served on the Dark Voice Staff for a little over one month, and has recently found a new niche has Tetrarch of the Dragon Guard battleteam. She applied for Aedile back in February of this year, 2008, but was only beat out by one other candidate in one of the most difficult decisions I had to make during my one and a half years as Quaestor.

Her most massive undertaking yet has been the Royal Gazette (http://www.scholaepalatinae.darkjedibrotherhood.com/royalgazette/); due to her constantly changing staff, she did at least 90% of the work, which included editing, formatting, and helping her interviewers get the job done. The final product was simply superb. It was beyond what I, and many others, had expected.

Beyond her "official" duties, she also serves as one of the Clan's "mothers." Constantly guiding new members and showing them the ropes, Anga has introduced many to the joys that is the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

I feel that there is no way to sufficiently recognize Anga's awesomeness, but I suppose that a long overdue promotion will be enough... for now. Congratulations, and welcome to the Equite ranks!

-- RevengeX Palpatine Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco

Since coming to CSP from Taldryan, Anga has put her foot in or attempted to put her foot into everything she can get her hands on. It is with the enthusiasm that I asked her to be the Editor in Chief of the Royal Gazette, CSP's fictional newspaper. She has since produced a quality first edition, which will be up for all to see shortly. She has also volunteered her time and experience to the Artifact team, which is in the process of revamping our artifacts. this, all despite her limited internet access and moving from house to house IRL. Anga exhibits all the characteristics and traits of the exemplar CSP member and it is my honor to recommend her for promotion into the Equite ranks. Congrats Anga, you deserve it!

~Prelate Lucien Kaeth ProConsul of Scholae Palatinae

Anga has become one of the top members of CSP since her arrival. She has jumped into the fray of projects that we have set-up. She has spear headed the CSP newsletter, a fictional "blurb" of what is going on in the Clan and where we intend to go. She has been a constant motivator, giving her insight and experience to help progress new and old members alike. She is an "old garb" member in a new time and has hit the ground running. I look forward to more of her work and am proud to elevate her to the Equite level.

Honorable. Passion. Dedication. Enthusiasm. Zeal. Moxie. All of these words and many more can be directly applied to Anga Salinas, current Jedi Knight of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

It has been my distinct honor and pleasure to know Anga for well over five years, first as a Student, then as a peer in the Clan. Although there was much she has accomplished for her former Clan, I will focus on the activities done for our shared Clan since she has come back to us.

Since coming back to the Clan, she has been an active and loyal member in our shared House, Acclivis Draco. Participating in many events and competitions, she has consistently been "leading the pack" in such things.

To cover specifics, on our wiki site she has assisted me in giving me detailed feedback for the various Clan articles that cover the Clan fleet and other Clan assets.

Her work on the various structures of HAD, specifically the HAD Citadel, was most detailed and impressive.

She has also been the project leader when it came time to publish the first edition of the Clan Newsletter, and has been a key component in getting that off the ground, culminating in the upcoming release of said newsletter.

Anga has also assisted in the Master/Student training of one of our members (Xathia), which was engaged in her Trials at the time.

In addition, she has been a stalwart example online, being a regular contributor to the Clan channel on IRC. I normally do not mention such things, but she makes every effort to bring about a sense of family on IRC, and is approachable by anyone. She excels in making people feel at home, which is critical in my opinion in making our newer members feel like they fit in. Such affability is rare, and should be recognized.

The interesting thing about Anga is that she is such a core component of what it means to be a member within the House that it is hard to think of HAD functioning without her. She is so integrated in our day-to-day functions that thinking of things that she is not involved with is hard.

In conclusion, for this and many other reasons, I feel that Anga is more than worthy to take the next step in her career to one that cares so much about her House and Clan. Kudos to you, Anga, well-deserved! =)
