Primary reason

It feels weird to think that I am writing this Recc’ for Taig… yet, at the same time feels more than right; he has been a Bro to me in the DB since we were both Jedi Hunters. Taigikori is by far and without question one of the most vocal members I have ever seen in the DB. Always giving ideas and always laying out what he thinks to put a positive spin on whatever outcome will commence, whether it was at a House/Clan back in the day and now finally, to the DC level. Quality work and progress is not cheap to come by nor easy to acquire yet Taig seems to be overflowing with both.

Watching him grow into his position in the Shadow Academy from a EP, to P:HM and now as the Headmaster himself has been in a joy in itself, let alone to see the work he has done on the Shadow Academy. He has taken up the mantle of Aabsdu with both grace and diligence, and reading his reports never seem to amaze me at the sheer amount of work he has done: Managing his staff, writing and grading Courses and Exams, returning helpful emails to members with questions, leaving his PM on IRC open to any questions that are brought to him… the list goes on.

To say that Taig is extremely valuable to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and it’s growth is far past an understatement, and this recommendation does not bring any justice as to what he is capable of nor what this powerhouse does on a day to day basis. His workload, I’m sure, is one any mere mortal would quiver under, yet he takes it on with ease, with a full time RL job, a wife and a child and all of his nerdy-WoW’ing. I cannot express in clear words of how much Taigikori is deserving of his promotion into the rank of a Sith Battlelord, so I’ll leave him with this: He pwns. ~Obelisk Prelate Shaz’air Taldrya, Quaestor of House Taldryan

Sometimes, the worst thing to witness in the Brotherhood is when people who do a workload for two or three people and don't get justly rewarded for it. That's not to say Taigikori Aybara Dupar is a slave, or a laborer; rather, he is a man who has had to play various roles, not demanding accolades for his work. Being the Right Hand of Justice, a Proconsul, the Praetor to the Headmaster, and later the Headmaster himself is not child's play - it's hardcore work.

Taig has helped lead a clan through a vendetta. He has contributed to Chamber of Justice proceedings, does massive technical work in the Shadow Academy, and guaranteed his ascension to Headmaster after Aabsdu's resignation. Now as Headmaster, he continues to keep the SA relevant to the daily proceedings of the Brotherhood, continuing to improve its list of courses and maintain its line-up of professors and docents so that exams are graded in a timely manner. Occasionally, I have seen him take teaching positions himself, having started the newest class for the Dark Sage of Writing course.

I tend to use the word "powerhouse" a lot in recommendations, and Taig is no exception. He is the powerhouse of the Academy. He stepped into the Praetorian Diet almost unexpectedly, and now he has found firm ground on the Dark Council. I can only hope that I will be able to work with him more in the future - after all, if we can brainstorm an RO together, we can certainly do some form of joint work at some point. I'm sure he'd do just as much of an impressive job as he's done before. ~Ronovi Tavisaen, Quaestor of House Tarentum

Well I have worked with Taig, for sometime in the Shadow Academy while I was a EP for the Test of power. Anything I needed I could count on him to get the info for me. Now I have the privilege to work with Taig once again this time as not only a Dark Council member, but as a designer to a new exam, hes easy to approach and very easy to work with. His dedication to this club is not just limited to the Shadow Academy, always looking for ways to better this club in an overall aspect. Hes came to me in my time as Fist and suggested some fun ideas for the clubs gaming aspect, and even bounced some ideas off me for both the Shadow Academy and Gaming side. Hes defiantly in great need of this promotion, greatly. His work has surpassed just not only what is expected of the Head Master but hes a great contribution to the entire Shadow Academy in the passed restructure and to current times.

When it was brought to my attention that he had not seen a decent award, this is well deserved enough that it warrants this now. Hes always active on the board for IRC and with his reports, his strive to grow farther in this club is also compounded by his work ethic as Head Master to the Shadow Academy. Hes a dedicated to this club for the long haul and is very pleasant to be around. Just in the small amount of my time on the Dark Council hes been overwhelming supportive of the gaming, as I am with the Shadow Academy itself. The helps while a EP there was great and helpful. Anything I would need or any ideas I had about the Test of Power, he was more than gracious enough to help me with or answer. I could just as easily bounce ideas off him then as I do now. Even hoping he will strive one step farther and grace us with his presence in the gaming spectrum of this club.

Knowing people with drive and wanting something more is always a plus, and I hope that this recc will help him achieve even greater things in this club. I would like to recommend Taig for this promotion, even though I am a bit behind on the actual side of what he really does. I have seen his work in the passed as Preator to the Headmaster and seeing the Shadow Academy now grows farther is a great sign that his leadership there is just as furious as it was when he was Preator then. Congrats and well deserved Taig. ~Ma`ar-Tyrius Ga-Tir, Fist of the Brotherhood

Why the hell isn't this guy EQ3 yet? Taigikori has served on the CoJ, as one of the best praetors that the Shadow Academy has ever seen, proconsul to Clan Naga Sadow, and finally Headmaster since his last promotion. Add into that the fact that he has not relented in his personal work, gaming and fictioning and so forth, and you can see a dynamic member, one that leads from the trnches and motivates people with his own work.

Taigikori has been an invaluable asset to the Dark Council, constantly present and around, working to foster better relations between the clans and the DC as well as trying to bring back the sense of Brotherhood that the whole club needs to recall. His work spirals out into many different aspects of the club, from working with the Fist on gaming questions, to working intrinsically with new members and helping to get the revolutionary Grind Path up off the ground, right down to helping with ideas for graphics and other expansions to this club of ours.

On top of all that, Taigi has done all this without looking for reward. His desire truly is in the advancement of the Brotherhood, the long term survival of this organization that we all enjoy. That selflessness points us all to have premonitions of his eventual rise to an elder in this club. Taigikori, on this day, we salute you, and honor you with a very much well deserved rank increase to Equite Three. Thank you for all you have done. ~ Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
