Primary reason

Since his last elevation on 12/10/10, Jeric Cyrin has been one hell of a leader and worker. He has earned 14 Crescents (including 2 Ruby and 2 Diamond ones), 244 Clusters of Fire, a Sapphire Blade, 3 Bronze Novae, 2 Gold Novae, 20 Vendetta seals, 2 Scrolls of Indoctrination, a Scroll of Foundation, a Seal of Loyalty, 7 Clusters of Ice, 4 Dark Crosses, 2 Anteian Crosses, and a Dark Side Scroll. Quite the impressive medal rack, and it shows how hard he works and the quality of said work. He has been an outstanding Quaestor for the past 4 months, and has served as Magistrate and Praetor to the Herald for over 2 years. He has also served as the Right Hand of Justice and advanced in the GMRG. His service as QUA has been outstanding. He's on the ball, does regular reports, and stepped in to help me take over the RM's duties when she was on LoA when ToR started- not an easy thing for either of us with the influx of new members. Jeric is quite frankly some of the glue that held CNS together during our darker time around GJW X. Without his work, we would have not done as well as we did. Jeric has what it takes to be elevated. With this promotion, we of Clan Naga Sadow would like to commend him for his time, service, and dedication to the ideal of what Clan Naga Sadow is. Congratulations, Jeric! –Macron Goura Sadow, Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Jeric Cyrin is a quality example of a good, active leader. Since his prior elevation, he has served in four separate leadership positions. He has been Aedile of House Marka Ragnos, Magistrate to the Herald, Right Hand of Justice, and Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. He is currently serving as both Right Hand of Justice and Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. This last position is the one I know Jeric best from, as I have worked on the Summit with him for several months. As Quaestor, Jeric consistently puts out quality competitions and stays in contact with his members. He contacts them on a weekly basis and makes sure that they are getting properly recognized for their actions. He also puts out regular reports. Furthermore, Jeric recently went above his normal duties. When our Rollmaster went on leave, Jeric assisted with her duties until her return, proving that he is able to go beyond merely the requirements of his job to help out others. When it comes to working with the Summit, Jeric always offers a solid opinion and is an active participant in Summit discussions. Jeric is not merely a great leader, he is also an active competitor. Jeric leads from the front. In GJWX, he participated in 15 events and was the 6th most active in the Clan. His numerous awards since his last promotion are impressive, including two Scrolls of Indoctrination, one Scroll of Foundation, one Dark Side Scroll, four Dark Crosses, two Anteian Crosses, a Seal of Loyalty, and a Sapphire Blade. This is no easy feat, and this impressive list of merit awards exemplifies Jeric's dedication to his House, Clan, and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Jeric is a solid Quaestor and one I am proud to work with on Clan Naga Sadow's Summit. He is a model to his peers and a valuable person to have around. While some members may allow leadership to consume there time in the 'Brotherhood, Jeric continues to participate in competitions and other activities, as demonstrated by his numerous awards and time as Magistrate to the Herald and Right Hand of Justice. Therefore, I find that Jeric has served with distinction as a Sith Battlemaster, and proved that he is worthy of elevation to Sith Battlelord, the 3rd tier of the Equite ranks. Congratulations, Jeric!- KP Locke Sonjie, Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow Jeric is a prime example of the leadership qualities the Dark Jedi Brotherhood needs today. Since his last promotion, Jeric has earned over 300 merits and helped the Clan when needed. He is a constant in terms of visibility in IRC, email, and participating in competitions. He is very supportive of his fellw DJB members and is honest when offering any criticism. He is quick to volunteer to help assist the Clan, as in the case of Rollmaster duties when the Clan Rollmaster went on LoA.

As Quaestor, Jeric has been in constant contact with his members. He strives to keep them active and helps with Journeymen's trial to become a Dark Jedi Knight. As a member of the Clan Summit, he is very helpful in generating ideas and suggestions to help improve the Clan in reality and in fiction. Jeric has raised the bar in terms of leadership in House Marka Ragnos, a House that has churned many of effective leaders in the Clan and the Brotherhood. -SBL Tsingtao Ming QUA of House Shar Dakhan

From the day he transferred into the Night Raptors, Sith Battlemaster Jeric Cyrin has been a committed member of Naga Sadow. Today, he can stand proud as the most recent in the long line of great leaders that House Marka Ragnos has produced. Like those before him, Jeric has always stood out as a team player, and he continues to demonstrate this. In his capacity as Quaestor, he is very much a member of the team, working with the other members of the Summit - Marka Ragnos and Shar Dakhan alike - towards the common goal of building a better Clan. To this end, Jeric recently stood in for the Rollmaster when she recently went on leave, for example. Moreover, Jeric possesses that rare skill of a successive leader to contribute to debates and air his own opinion in a diplomatic manner, without stamping on everyone else. While I cannot speak of the inner workings of the Chamber first hand, I can only expect that this skill is also how Jeric has accomplished being one of the Hands of Justice.

Further, Jeric's work as a member of the Chamber of Justice highlights another of his successes: instead of wittling away his time in a darkened room on a pet project as so often befalls many a leader, Jeric actively engages with the wider community, contributing to the needs of the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Indeed, I imagine this comes naturally to Jeric, who remains as active a participant in competitions himself. In the recent Great Jedi War, for example, he was one of the highest performing members of Naga Sadow, and I remember well his supportive contributions to the team events such as the weekly Wiki Events. Clearly, unlike others, rather than being becoming jaded, Jeric has retained his love of the Dark Brotherhood itself, which I expect plays directly into why he continues to excel as a leader - and a member.

An inspiration to many, Jeric stands out as one of the bright stars today, and I heartily contratulate him on this elevation. Well done, Battlelord Cyrin! -Dark Prophet Darth Vexatus, Sith Lord, Son of Sadow
