Primary reason

I have personally had the pleasure of working with Xen'Mordin on multiple occasions. First, we had a three group feud with Plagueis. Xen was heavily involved in the planning between our three Summits. He made a very intricate and useful spreadsheet which made it very easy for us to keep track of who participated in what competition. This spreadsheet also kept track of points, so we could easily tell who placed where. This may be easy to make for some, but for me it would have been a massive headache and an absolute nightmare to figure out, so I'm really thankful that Xen took the initiative to make it. He also had a cool head when it came to judging and contributed many useful ideas to the competitions themselves. Basically, though we also had the PLA Summit and our own, this would have been extremely hard to pull off without Xen, especially in the amount of time allotted.

Having come away from that event with a positive feeling, we quickly matched up with HSP for the post-Horizons feuds, in our case Chasing Horizons. Here, Xen made a similar spreadsheet to before. He also made a website for the feud completely on his own, and kept track of everything that needed to be on it. This included the weekly competitions and fiction updates. This site can be viewed here: http://cnshsphorizons.wordpress.com/ As one can see, it has a simple and effective design which made it easy for our members to keep track of what was going on. It's also a great reference tool today if we want to see what happened. In addition, Xen was also a major participant in the competition-making, plot development, and judging. As before, Xen proved we had made the right choice of a unit to work with.

What this all boils down to is that Xen has initiative. He will do something that will help out a lot without asking or waiting for someone else to say it should be done. These things take more than a few minutes of work (at least, they would if I tried them!). Furthermore, Xen is always amiable and easy-going and a pleasure to work with, and possesses the sometimes rare ability to separate fiction from real life to create interesting plots, rather than those that just glorify his own unit. I honestly look forward to future partnerships between our two units because here I see a dedicated, dependable, active leader.

Xen, good luck in future endeavors and congratulations!

  • KAP Locke Sonjie Consul of Clan Naga Sadow

Xen proved to be an excellent and capable component of our post-Horizons feud. When there was work needed to be done, he kept up with me in terms of getting it done. He helped identify competition ideas and elaborated upon them. On top of that, he put together the wordpress site for our Feud and ensured it always had the up to date information on it. Always ready to respond and discuss, he was a vocal and ever present voice in the discussions. From this singular interaction with Xen, as well as spontaneous discussions elsewhere, I have been able to see Xen prove himself a more than capable leader, and a whole-hearted member of the Brotherhood. I look forward to what he does between now and his next promotion. If this trend continues, good things are in the future for HSP.

~ Prelate Atra Ventus, Proconsul of Naga Sadow

I have sadly only been around for a brief portion of Xen's time as QUA of HSP, but since coming back he has been the key driving factor behind my enjoyment and understanding of how things currently run and how to enjoy myself. I feel like I am not just an exception, but he takes this same approach to the entire House. He is passionate and dedicated to Scholae Palatinae, and although we are certainly not dominating the rankings lately he strongly desires our success and openly discusses every possible way to improve. To take this to the highest level of leadership, his dedication and commitment to the House stand as a pillar of reassurance and security as we move forward and grow to become a better more competitive House. On top of all these things, and most important of all is his recognition of others. He strives to ensure proper recognition is given when its due to all members as we work to show the strength of Scholae Palatinae. In this same vein, I strongly recommend Xen'Mordin receive a promotion to Sith Warlord for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the house for such a long period of time with no end in sight.

Priest Evant Taelyan

Xen’Mordin has been the Quaestor of Scholae Palatinae throughout a rough time in the House’s history. In spite of a natural slump, he has pushed and pushed, striving towards the execution of his plans and the betterment of the House. He is the directional laser for the House, guiding us in a true and exact path. Without him, we would be lost.

As Quaestor, he has presided over the expansion of Scholae’s wiki presence, the reestablishment of Scholae’s strong gaming tradition, as well as several fairly successful runs through Great Jedi Wars, Rites of Supremacy and two Feuds. He has been incredibly active as the leader of the House, doing more than his fair share of the submissions for the various events.

He leads from the front, without reservation or failure. He deserves to be promoted for his accomplishments and his fealty to the Dark Brotherhood.

Sith Battlemaster Archangel Former Aedile of Xen's, Current Praetor to the Fist

Xen has been the backbone for our House for quite a large amount of time. He has kept so many people here and together, with virtually no internal strife. He has kept me personally interested in staying with the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, when I have thought multiple times alone. He is the reason that we stood so strong within the Great Jedi War and got the outstanding placing. Xen thinks about everyone and the House before himself. I have been wracking my brain for days trying to figure out what to put down in words, but it's quite difficult with how much help that Xen has given. He was my master, he helpled me ever step of the way into becoming a Dark Jedi Knight. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is active, has things that they can enjoy between competitions and fictions. He works himself to the bone to make the Brotherhood the best experience that we can have. I thank him every day that he works as hard as he does, and pushes our House forward to the future. Without him, I think that a lot of people would be less inclined to do work, but he keeps us going.

DJK Eetherbiail, HSP member

For almost two years, Xen’Mordin Vismorsus has led Scholae Palatinae as its Quaestor. Through good times and bad, he has served the House to the very best of his ability. The majority of Xen’s work happens behind-the-scenes, of which there is a substantial amount and he is near constantly working on some way to increase activity within the House. With the recent AWOL check, Scholae Palatinae was hit hard with losses; was Xen fazed by this? No. He looked at the situation and began working to inspire and motivate the remaining membership. His passion for the House and the Brotherhood is matched by few, and his desire to see each and every member better themselves is apparent to all.

One of Xen’s greatest strengths is his ability to lead by example. Even while juggling the responsibilities of Quaestor, Aedile, and Rollmaster following Xan and Akatsuki’s departures, he still somehow found the time to help plan and release the final week of the Naga Sadow/ Scholae Palatinae post-Horizon feud. In addition, from the recent feuds and vendettas alone, he has received a Dark Cross, an Anteian Cross, a Steel Cross, a Gold Nova, 60 Clusters of Fire, and 13 Seals of Affliction, not to mention the plethora of rewards he has earned since his promotion to Battlelord.

There are few willing to show the same drive and determination as Xen, and it is an honour and a privilege to recommend him for promotion to the rank of Warlord. Congrats Xen, you’ve more than earned this.

Koryn Thraagus, Rollmaster of Scholae Palatinae

It has been quite a long time since Xen’Mordin’s promotion to EQ3. Eighteen months to be precise. Eighteen months of excellent service as the Quaestor of House Scholae Palatinae and role model member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. The amount of awards, which Xen has earned during this time, speaks loudly for itself and for his merits.

2 Seals of Loyalty, 1 Grand Cross of the Dark Side, 1 Steel Cross, 1 Anteian Cross, 3 Dark Crosses, 29 Seals of Decimation, 13 Seals of Affliction, 3 Bronze Novae, 2 Silver Novae, 1 Gold Nova, 1 Legion of the Scholar, 3 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 1 Crescent with Topaz Star, 1 Crescent with Emerald Star, 80 Clusters of Fire and 2 Clusters of Ice.

In addition to any other activity, Xen has participated in four events of Nfolgai part of February edition of the Vendetta, including Wiki, Graphics, one Fiction ( Assassination of Yobd Nan ) and Cryptography course. What is more, he has reminded all members of the House about the events of the Vendetta and inspired them to participate in all events they could.

Maybe it is not the highest amount of awards earned by a member of the Brotherhood in such period of time, but if you take Xen’s service as the Quaestor under the consideration, you will change your mind. In addition to any casual activity displayed by Xen, he has proved himself to be an excellent leader of our House.

He constantly struggles for improving the House and creating friendly environment, which supports activity and the spirit of family. He always does his best to make sure that we are busy with competitions, either through running his ones or reviewing and giving a go to the ideas of other House members. He worked hard with Naga Sadow and Plagueis Summits to run Feud, known as Summer Invasion. Recently, he has worked with Naga Sadow again and hosted post-Horizons Feud.

From when I have been chosen the Aedile of HSP, Xen’Mordin has been extremely supportive for me, helping me to accomodate myself on new position. After a month of serving as his second, I can easily see how much work Xen does behind the scenes. He has quickly reviewed my brief internal report about the state of the House and possible solutions for existing problems, providing great feedback on various issues. In this way, he has also proven himself as an open-minded person, who is not afraid of new ideas and tough words.

Based upon all the recommendations, which come from various members of the Brotherhood, and my own experiences, I am convinced that Xen’Mordin has done much more than it is necessary to be finally promoted to the highest of the Equite ranks.

KP Xantros Aedile of HSP

One year and six months is a long time to remain at one rank. This is especially true when all of those eighteen months have been spent as the leader of your House. Battlelord Xen'Mordin Vismorsus has served as the Summit of CSP for two years and has done so with exceptional grace and skill. CSP has transformed under his leadership in to one of our finest houses and it is a direct reflection of his leadership. It is an honor to recommend Xen's promotion to Sith Warlord! Congrats!

Darth Pravus, Voice

Xen has one of the hardest gigs in the Brotherhood. He leads one of the most storied and historic units in the club, and has had to put up with the competing cults of personality that reside there. Despite all of this, he has managed to move Scholae forward into the future. He has continually pushed his members to do more, to do better. And for that, he has caught varying degrees of abuse from the stodgier members of the club. Despite this, he has maintained an air of calm and collectedness. It is too easy to recommend that he be promoted.
