The Diamond Sword of the Dark Brotherhood has been awarded 19 times over a period exceeding two decades. This award is reserved for leaders in the Dark Brotherhood who have displayed incredible leadership and serve as pillars of the Brotherhood. The Diamond Sword's prestige is such that the MAA staff cannot award it and only the Grand Master or Deputy Grand Master can approve the award for our members.

We take the awarding of these medals exceptionally seriously. The integrity of our awards system (despite it just being pixels) is extremely important to the Dark Council and the Star Chamber. This requires the award process for the Diamond Sword to be unanimous during discussions in order to assure the members in question truly deserves it.

The Herald of the Dark Brotherhood, Adept Morgan B. Sorenn, truly deserves the Diamond Sword. Vyr's consistent dedication to our club and his unbelievable work rate are true testaments to his desire to see the Dark Brotherhood succeed. Graphics for our website, graphics for our dossiers, graphics for our awards, graphics for our possessions, graphics for our War, and finding the right/talented artists to support our club are all tools within his kit-bag. Vyr has created a thriving art community, has achieved stunning success fostering our young artists, and has consistently come through with timely and relevant art to make our club a much more presentable place.

In addition to Vyr's traditional duties (traditional doesn't make sense in his case because he has exceeded the normal duties of the position of Herald by far), he has also worked extensively in our possessions system, our fictional updates, and the most recent creation of the Collective for the GJW. Vyr's ideas, sketches, and initial work laid the ground work for the enemy forces featured in the DJB's latest war. His efforts for the GJW were amazing and our club benefited from his fast and excellent work.

Vyr, Mav and I appreciate all of the work you have done on behalf of our club over the past year and we look forward to collaborating with you for a very long time.

The Lord of Salt, Commander of Tears, and Battlelord of Checkers, has performed with exceptional grace in one of the most difficult positions within the Dark Brotherhood. The Fist, as per Fist history, receives more hate mail and flack from our members than any other position in the Club. Awards are too hard to gain, awards are too easy to gain, we should have more games, we should have less games, we should have participation heavy competitions, we should have skill heavy competitions, we should add Pokemon Go, we should add WoW, and on and on.

The Lord of Salt handles these issues with skill and has improved our club's gaming through consistent dedication to factual, numbers based analysis on what games to add to our club, what medals to balance, and what games to phase out.

Drac is a modern Fist for the modern changes in our club and he has done an exception job removing old bureaucratic policies, updating existing policies, and bringing in new and common sense rules for our games. He has modernized the way we set up matches with the help of the SCL through the Telegram chat program, and he has remained adaptive to both members and club leadership.

Drac's work on the recent GJW was exceptional and his efforts over the past several months have been outstanding.

Adept Evant Taelyan has performed remarkably in his duties as Regent. One only needs to look at the position of Regent to realize that we created it for Evant due to his incredible performance in creating the DJB's possession system. This fact alone makes him unique among club leaders and members.

Evant creates new possessions, balances credits, creates fictional enemies, and works tirelessly ensuring the DJB's integrated systems make sense. Evant needs to keep up with award trends, balancing of gaming, fiction, canon issues, Star Wars movies, membership needs, statistics on ownership of possessions, and a list of things that are too long to count or list here.

Evant, we appreciate your dedication to our club, your efforts as the Regent, and your amazing work on the GJW.

The Deputy Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood is a daunting position for everyone who has ever served in it. You must remain responsive to the Grand Master, manage the Dark Council, and serve as a sounding board for the combined Clan Consuls. The Deputy Grand Master is also tasked with running the DJB's largest competitions to include handling a lion's share of the GJW and RoS work. On top of all of this, the Deputy Grand Master is under the constant microscope of the Star Chamber and a cabal of Grand Master's with over 15 years of club leadership. The Deputy Grand Master may be the most difficult position in our club and all of us are very fortunate that Prophet Mav Cantor has been willing to serve in it for so long.

Mav has stood as my confidant, my trusted friend, and the co-leader of the DJB for nearly three years. He has been a part of some of the largest changes in our club's history. Over the past year he has focused on the roll out of our possessions systems, the constant tweaking of our gaming systems, updates to character sheets and the ACC, and an unbelievable amount of tasks associated with the GJW.

Mav has performed flawlessly in his role as DGM and I am pleased to award him the Silver Sash for his efforts.

Prophet James Lucius Entar's work ethic, ability to be flexible to wide ranging demands, and consistent dedication to the Dark Brotherhood make him one of our greatest members of all time as well as one of the most difficult to award.

In this case, Howie and I scanned James dossier to determine what SAC award he received the longest ago (SB) and determined that it was not high enough. So we moved to his second oldest SAC award and it was the Ruby Scepter.

Long ago we awarded the Ruby Scepter for dedication and mentorship to the members of the DJB. We have since changed this award to a more traditional "tiered" award making it the fifth highest award in the DJB. Regardless of the definition, James is worth of both the old RS and the new RS.

James, I can't tell you how much your dedication to this club means to all of us (And to me personally). The things you do, half of which we don't even know about, are impressive and truly place you in the pantheon of the DJB's greatest members.
