Primary reason

While I cannot personally attest to Cethgus' activity before he joined Clan Plagueis, his dossier clearly points the fact that he was a valuable member of Clan Scholae Palitane. As a member of CSP, after his promotion to Prelate, he accrued 43 Clusters of Fire, 28 Seals of Remembrance, and 14 odd Crescents more or less evenly spread among the roughly 4 months since his last promotion, and before his transfer to Clan Plagueis.

His time in Clan Plagueis has been no less fruitful. After his transfer to our Clan in September last year, Cethgus has been awarded a Legion of the Scholar, 49 Clusters of Fire, 11 Crescents, a Seal of Loyalty, and a Grand Cross of the Dark Side, not even mentioning his activity in the recent GJW. Such consistent and prolific activity easily puts Cethgus among Clan Plagueis' most active Equites, and most active members of any rank, as well as a model member in the Brotherhood as a whole.

However, as clearly stated by the Master at Arms policy, individual activity can not on its own warrant a promotion to Obelisk Exarch. On October 9, Cethgus was appointed as the BTL of House Exar Kun's battle team, Exar's Shadow. In three short months, Cethgus made 13 reports, more than most people in such a position write in a year, ran 8 competitions, and ran a runon for the Battle Team. He oversaw the creation of a new logo and motto for the team. In short, he got members active, and made Exar's Shadow into the best Battle Team in Clan Plagueis; I should know, as at that time, I was the BTL of Keto's Vengeance, and was in constant envy of Exar's Shadow's activity. Cethgus' leadership credentials do not stop at BTL, however. In January, he was appointed to Rollmaster for Clan Plagueis and given the unenviable task of overseeing all Plagueis' Journeymen.

Coincidentally, around that same time, I moved to Aedile, and then Quaestor of House Satal Keto and began working with Cethgus on a much more direct and consistent basis. I can say that Cethgus rose to the position. With the nearly constant contact with Clan Plagueis' newer members, as well as tireless checking for members that have met promotion requirements (not to mention nagging me to write and submit promotion requests for said members), I would say without any hesitation that Clan Plagueis would not have as many good and active Journeymen as we do today. Finally, Cethgus was an integral part of Clan Plagueis' GJW effort. He was appointed to the (unofficial) position of Gaming Captain prior to the war and made it his mission that the Clan was as prepared for the gaming aspects of the GJW as possible. During the war, he sent weekly email updates to the Clan.

In short, after eleven months at Prelate, Cethgus more than deserves a promotion to Exarch. Congratulations, Ceth.

~ Vivackus Kavon, Quaestor of House Satal Keto

Rarely do I see a leader care as much about his charges as does Cethgus Kuga. Cethgus is Clan Plagueis' Rollmaster, and he interacts with the Journeymen, which largely contributes to more retention of the Journeymen, as well as their swift climbing of the ranks. Cethgus' duties as Rollmaster are to: welcome the Journeymen to the clan with an e-mail, provide each journeyman with a list of tasks they must complete before a promotion to the next rank (and send a new one after each promotion), maintain and work with the Consul and Proconsul on the Master Student Program (assigning students to masters, helping to figure out problems with parings, and helping to ok work given), be readily available to Journeymen for questions to be answered, and if necessary, write promotions for newer Journeymen. Cethgus does each of these without fail, even while doing his own work.

Since his promotion to Prelate, Cethgus has racked up 1 Grand Cross of the Dark Side (for his work done in Clan Plagueis), 25 Crescents (1 Ruby, 4 Amethyst, 10 Sapphire, 7 Emerald, 3 Topaz) , 92 Clusters of Fire, 28 Seals of Remembrance, 1 Legion of the Scholar, and a Seal of Loyalty. He has also done most of, if not all events in the Ninth Great Jedi War, the Uneasy Alliances three-way Clan Feud, the Independence Games, and more. All of this activity generated from Cethgus is in addition to his work as a Rollmaster and Battle Team Leader.

Cethgus is an all-around nice guy, and I am glad to write this promotion request for him. This is a little overdue, but congratulations Cethgus, on your promotion.

~ Yzarc Rellik Kaeth di Plagia, Quaestor House Exar Kun

Since Cethgus joined us here in Clan Plagueis, he has been nothing but the model member. I don’t need to reiterate all of the medals he has achieved or any of the positions he held, but I can talk about his level of leadership.

He’s been on top of his job as the Rollmaster for Clan Plagueis, e-mailing Journeymen with their next set of tasks, welcoming them to the Clan, pairing up Master/Student matches, and releasing weekly reports more often than any other leader in the Clan. He has supervised the Clan Channel every time Braecen or I have been absent and conducts himself in a calm and mature manner when faced with any situation that gets out of hand.

In addition to his normal duties, he served in an unofficial position during the Ninth Great Jedi War, Gaming Captain for Clan Plagueis, where he helped members of the Clan receive multiple Novas in events spanning the Gaming Events. He’s also been invaluable as a member of the Summit, acting as a sounding board for many ideas from the Consul and me.

After eleven months as an Obelisk Prelate, Cethgus has more than proved himself and is ready for a promotion to Obelisk Exarch. Congratulations, Cethgus, well deserved.

Ryan Neale has already started to make his presence known in House Qel-Droma. He has begun to communicate with his Summit, has submitted two Shadow Academy exams, and participated in a House competition. He is clearly deserving of this first promotion, and I hope it will serve to propel him further in the Brotherhood.

Krandon has been an exceptional member of House Ludo Kressh. He has quickly become one of the most active Journeymen in the Clan. He is always jumping in feet first in participating in competitions and events, welcoming new members, and being available to help answer questions. His determination and spunk has help energized the House.

As a Battle Team Leader of the Jade Serpents, Krandon has been active in pushing his members to be active, especially during the Great Jedi War. Even though his members do not respond regularly, Krandon has kept a level head and continues to encourage his team.

On top of everything he has done for the House and Clan, Krandon has satisfied all his requirements to complete his Trials to become a Dark Jedi Knight.

-He has been a Jedi Hunter for over 6 weeks.
-He has two merit awards, one he earned as a Jedi Hunter. -He has three Legions of Scholar, one recently earned.

-He has participated in over 15 competition -He has taken and passed two Leadership SA exams -He has helped create and run a Clan-based Run-on competition, prior to the GJW -He has accomplished a Major Task set forth by the Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. Krandon has implemented a strategy plan to convert the Jade Serpents into a Training Battle Team.

I highly recommend Krandon Rowella to be promoted to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight with all rights and privileges.

I would like to also provide recommendations from the Aedile of House Ludo Kressh as well as Krandon's former Master:

Jedi Hunter Krandon Rowella has been a stalwart member of Clan Naga Sadow ever since he joined the Brotherhood. He has been a constant presence on IRC, and is more than happy and willing to lend assistance whenever it is needed. His work is commendable, and has been more than able to lead by example by assuming the reins of leadership, commanding a Battle Team at several points in his career.

Krandon can be called a model member, not because of a spotless record, rather, in spite of not having one. He is human, as all of us are, but what makes him unique is his ability to atone for mistakes, learn from them, and come out all the better. All too often a message is sent that one must be a stellar member to be rewarded, when clearly this is not the case. More importantly, we must recognize when members are aware of their humanity and are willing to rise above their shortcomings to perform at a high level. In Krandon’s case, he has gone on to garner himself several Novae for his contributions in GJW IX, and even a coveted “Black Guard” position, which translates to a special advisory role to House Ludo Kressh’s Quaestor.

In light of the above, and his accomplishments up to and including his current rank, it is my pleasure to recommend Krandon Rowella for his Knighthood.

KAP Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, AED, House Ludo Kressh

Since joining the ranks of Clan Naga sadow, Krandon has been highly active, and helpful. He has been a commited member of the rotherhood, and eventually has ascended his way through the Journeman ranks by competing in competitions, working hard, taking up a leadership position when needed.

He Has Done the following:

Must have a merit award (done)Participate in 15 comps (done) Created Comps and Ran them Earned a Shadow Academy Degree Completed a quality wiki article Created and Run additional comps

Then when you add in his participation in the GJW

Week 0 – Debating the Return fiction Week 0 - Trivia Week 1 - Trivia Week 2 – Trivia Week 2- Skirmish Week 2 – Effects of War Week 3 - Trivia Week 3 – Helpless poetry Week 3 - Helped with the Puzzle Week 3 – Know your Enemy graphic – 5TH PLACE Week 4 - Trivia Week 4 - Helped With Puzzle Week 5 - Graphics Comp Week 5 - multimedia event Week 5 - Poetry Week 6 - Helped With Puzzle Week 6 – Trivia

(this isn’t even an exhaustive list of everything he has done in GJW).

Also furthermore, he has always worked hard as an apprentice to complete any tasks I have set for him. It is for these reasons than I reccomend Krandon to be promoted to Dark Jedi Knight.
