Primary reason

The Promotion from Equite 2 to Equite 3 is a much larger step than say 1 to 2. Whereas an active member can make the jump from Warrior to Battlemaster, our standards suggest that only leaders will advance to the ranks of Battlelord. Vardar Fen’Amar Ordo is something of an anomaly however.

With no leadership positions to his record, he has single handedly demonstrated the ability to lead and mentor members of the Brotherhood and the Clan, setting a high bar for activity and communication at the same time. For the better part of two years, Vardar has been consistently the most persistent and active gamer in my House and as I understand it, the Clan. He has earned far more Clusters of Fire for his play time than I can care to count and three Pendants of Blood. It was infact this explosive gaming ability that rocketed him to Fourth Place in the Ninth Great Jedi War.

In the last year and eight months Vardar has earned himself five novas, a Dark Cross, a Steel Cross, and an Anteian Cross. He was given a Seal of Loyalty for his service to the Brotherhood, nineteen Crescents of varying levels including two Rubys, and something like 23 Seals of Unity from this Great Jedi War alone.

While this level of activity is incredible by any measure, it still doesn’t qualify one for a promotion to the third level of the Equites. Many consider leadership to be the act of holding a position of power. Vardar has demonstrated an ability to lead through mentorship however. On varying occasions he has not only offered to lead classes in Jedi Academy to Taldryan members, but taught students in the art of JA Sabers as well. To the members of my house, Vardar is a paragon of activity. He leads from the front, nearly always leading the weekly medal reports in both mine and my Aedile’s leader Reports.

For his exceptional activity, explosive GJW work and his mentorship of Taldryan and Brotherhood members, it is my very distinct pleasure to recommend that Vardar Fen’Amar Ordo be elevated to the rank of Sith Battlelord.

May the darkness guide you Vardar,

May you continue to lead us in Battle.

~QUA Vodo Biask

Primary reason

In many ways, Tirano is as underrated as JS in Arcona. Always polite, helpful and eager, he nevertheless doesn’t attach himself to any of the cliques that so regularly spring up in the Dark Brotherhood. Instead, he lets his allegiance be known by his indomitable presence in the GJW. However, that’s not all he can do. Since joining Arcona as an Aedile, Tirano has run a few competitions, published frequent and punctual reports in his capacity as aedile, and always been the first to offer his services in helping the members get to grips with their platforms of choice in gaming. In addition to this, he always throws himself at whatever competition we put in front of him, and never lets the language barrier get in the way when participating in Arcona’s Run ons or fictional events – an admirable trait. Tirano is the quintessential member – cheerful, competitive, active and good at what he does. We are very lucky to have him. In terms of GJW activity, Tirano has got nothing to be ashamed of, as he participated in Skirmish 1 Gaming, Helpless Poetry, Simulation Gaming, and placed 5th In the Legends Gaming event, 8th in the Elimination event, 4th in Mistaken Identity Team Gaming and an astounding 1st in Skirmish 2. He has proved his weight in gold in this GJW, and it is a distinct pleasure in being the first to congratulate Tirano Yamayura on fully earning his place in the Shadow clan with this promotion. You’re an Arconan for life now, mate. Keep up the brilliant work. – Sashar, di Tenebrous Arconae.

Mist was a shining beacon of activity and determination this past Great Jedi War, and everyone in Arcona knows it. He participated in a great many competitions for the war, attributing more than our margin of victory in participation points. Aside from this, he continued his work towards advancing in the ranks by remaining in constant contact with his leaders through email and IRC, and added Leadership Fundamentals to his growing resume. Furthermore, he has far surpassed the ten competitions necessary for promotion. All of this, along with his extensive contributions to the war effort, leaves him deserving of this promotion. Congrats, Mist!

Dathka has been a Journeyman in Arcona for a while now, and has been, during his tenure in the clan, a brilliantly enthusiastic and positive influence. His comments and input is always cheery – properly in keeping with what the spirit of a Brotherhood should be – and his eagerness to help a refreshing change from some of the older faces. Dathka is very much ready to ascend to the next level the DB can offer him – Dark Jedi Knight. <br><br> Dathka has far exceeded the minimum time requirement of six weeks required at Jedi Hunter, already has a Dark Cross, and has many, many Crescents. He has run the Faces of History competition, the Motivational Poster Competition and participated in (takes deep breath)Black Tempest Tenebrous Torture, Black Tempest RO, Black Tempest: Stair of Doto RO, SA Krath Core, Conflict Mediation, Astronomy, Sith Core, Starfighter Studies, Leadership Fundamentals, and in the GJW has participated in the Legends Gaming event, Helpless event, Mistaken Identity, Instruction (by earning a Maven in Philosophy) The Skirmish event, as well as a fair number of the weekly trivias. In terms of his SA leadership exams, as previously stated he already has Leadership Fundamentals and Conflict Mediation under his belt. His master’s task was done with eloquence and efficiency, and his master, Zandro, was very happy with the results. Dathka has earned 121 Clusters of fire all in all, earned a Dark Maven in Philosophy, and has run two competitions, thereby completing all of his requirements for DJK. Well done, Dathka, and welcome to the ranks of the Knights of the First Clan in the Brotherhood! – Sashar, di Tenebrous Arconae.

Where to start? JScumm is the single most active gamer in Arcona. His performance isn’t limited to GJWs, either, as he has been raking in medals and clusters for gaming nights and ICTEs since before my time as Consul (just a cursory look at his ID line will attest to this). He is a consistently underrated member, as his quiet, placid demeanour on IRC doesn’t attract attention, but he is definitely a snake in the grass. In addition to being a herculean gamer, he has also been Battleteam Leader of Blue Mist Squadron for 7 months. In that capacity, he regularly assists his members in learning the ins and outs of their gaming, produces regular reports, the odd competition and also makes sure that the rest of the summit keep up to date rewarding his boys. He is definitely a stalwart of Arcona.<br><br> In terms of GJW activity, JS is one of the gamers that won it for Arcona. He participated in Legends Gaming, Sector Sketch Graphics, Effects of War Graphics, Skirmish 1 Gaming, placed 3rd in Skirmish 2 Gaming, 10th in In Whose Favour Gaming, Won the Elimination Gaming, and came 6th in Mistaken Identity Gaming. He was a gaming tank that changed the landscape of DB gaming with his indomitable activity and proficiency in EaW. JScumm, having been a Sith Warrior for nearly a year, is well overdue a promotion. Well done, mate. – Sashar, di Tenebrous Arconae.

Etah Idanian hasn’t always gelled well with the other members of Arcona, myself included. However, in recent months...I have nothing to say but words of high praise for Etah. During a summit changeover in the middle of the GJW (hardly the most opportune of times) he graciously volunteered to help out as Aedile of Galeres, and I have not looked back on that decision in the slightest. He has put out prompt reports, been a valuable point of reference for all things Galeres, has been assigned numerous administration tasks by Timeros which he has executed with maturity and proficiency, and what’s more, he’s held the banner for Arcona once more through a GJW, showing the kids how it’s done. However, before we jump into his GJW activity, I’d also like to mention what an exceptional member he was during the Black Tempest event just prior to the GJW, in which he was a driving force for the RO, posting several times to keep the plot moving. <br><br> Now, his GJW performance. He posted in the RO several times, Participated in the Recon Fiction, Sector Sketch Graphics, Effects of War Graphics, Chasing the Ghost Fiction, Helpless Poetry, Know Your Enemy Graphics, Potent Ink Poetry and Know Your Allies Graphics. In addition to participating in this laundry list of fiction and graphic activity, he was also the single reason we won the first Battleplan, bringing his RL knowledge of military doctrine into our BP and giving us an exceptional format and layout, as well as a tactically sound plan. His efforts were similar in the second BP, and our placing in that event in no way detracts from the amount of work he put in. Etah is long, LONG overdue a promotion for consistent loyalty to Arcona over the years, as well as a recent blossoming of activity as Aedile of Galeres. Well done, Etah. – Sashar, di Tenebrous Arconae

Dear High Slice, I shudder to think what state this clan would be in without Legorii Entar. From day one he has been a driving force in this clan, constantly offering helpful input and his own highly proficient hand at any task he sets his mind to. He took on the unenviable task of becoming Quaestor during the middle of the Great Jedi War after ably serving as Aedile beforehand for 5 months. During this extended period of leadership, Legorii has promptly produced reports, run numerous competitions for his house and done more ‘behind the scenes’ work for the clan than anyone else I can think of in recent history, helping out with the Black Tempest Competition, participating in the, Arcona ACC Tourney. In addition to this, Lego has been a stalwart member of the Wiki staff and served with distinction for 6 months. <br><br> Now, as for Legorii’s GJW performance. It is...intimidating, which is a given, considering that he was the 10th Highest scorer overall. His participation included posting in the RO, Recon Fiction, Effects of War Graphics, Skirmish II Gaming, Chasing the Ghost Fiction, Helpless Poetry, Know Your Enemy Graphics, Depiction Multimedia, Potent Ink Poetry, Know Your Allies Graphics, Most of the Codebreakers, all of the Trivia events, and placed 3rd in Battlefield Objectives ACC, 10th in Week 4 Trivia, 3rd in ACC 1v1 and 9th in Mistaken Identity Gaming. Clearly, he’s a powerhouse. Clearly, he’s going to one day run this clan, and clearly, he’s well deserving of this promotion. Excellent work, Lego. Thanks. – Sashar, di Tenebrous Arconae.
