Elevation Request: Krath Priest DJK Ood Bnar Sythe'rae (3317)

The elevation from the Journeymen Class to the Equites does not come lightly, nor should it. An individual will have to have shown excellence in leadership, activity and ingenuity to earn their ranks henceforth. Yet, I believe Ood more than capable and willing of serving his Clan and the Brotherhood as he continues forward as a Krath Priest.

It has been nearly two years since his last elevation, but Ood has been hard at work since then competing in countless competitions and participating in three separate Brotherhood-wide Vendettas and collecting Seals of Duplicity (10), Seal of Darkness, and Seals of Pain (5). In addition, he also earned two Bronze Nova and a Gold Nova from those events. He has also collected eleven (11) Legions of the Scholar, five (5) Dark Side Scrolls, eleven (11) Scrolls of Foundation, three (3) Clusters of Fire, twelve crescents (4 Cr-S, 3 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T, 3 Cr-Q), two Dark Crosses, three Anteian Crosses and two Steel Crosses. In addition to collecting medals, he has also been hard at work in the Shadow Academy completing many courses: AOL Instant Messenger, Astronomy, Capital Starship Studies, Chamber of Justice, Clan Plagueis History, Dark Brotherhood Basics, Freighters and Transports, Hand-to-Hand Combat, History of the Sith Empire (1, 2, 3), HTML Basics, Imperial Starfighters, Advanced Poetry, Krath Poetry, Old Republic History, Starfighter Studies, Weapon Basics, Wiki Basics. And collecting several Dark Side Degrees: Dark Maven: Flight, Dark Maven: History, Dark Maven: Service, Dark Savant: Service.

Ood can also boast six continuous months of service as a House Envoy and Roll Master for both House Acclivis Draco and House Caliburnus of Scholae Palatinae (in which he served under me). During that time, he was tasked with ensuring regular communication with his members ranked under Dark Jedi Knight and answering their questions as they came. He also posted ten reports and has run seven competitions. Though, none should forget his tenure as a Dark Voice Staff Member where he helped Telona and created the sodoku puzzles that spurred some additional activity.

Most recently, Ood has now become the de facto authority in Plagueis about the Message Forums. He initiates conversation about them, hosts competitions through them and has several other developments up his sleeve to keep people interested. Soon, he will have to take up the mantle of mentor - once again - and teach a student that which he knows and can relate. Much like he did with his previous student, Sith Warrior Zeron. In which, Ood created a wonderful, active member out of.

Elevation Request: Dark Jedi Knight JH Strats Grimm (9366)

Strats Grimm is one of the most promising Journeymen in the Brotherhood today. His time in House Satal Keto has been full of activity and even crossing into the world of Leadership. Since reaching the rank of Jedi Hunter, Strats has received a Quartz Crescent, 5 Topaz, 4 Emerald, 2 Sapphire, and 1 Ruby Crescent; clearly competing in several competitions across the DB. He participated greatly during the 2k8 Independence Games, receiving 12 Seals of Remembrance and a Steel Cross for his particpation, as well as placing in two events.

He was also appointed to Sith Commander of the Battleteam Satal Victus, HSK's Battleteam at the time. During his tenure there he pioneered the BT Posititional Placements, assigning every member of the BT a specific job during battle, and he also updated the Wiki Page to include these, as well as details surrounding those positions. He ran numerous competitions while in this position as well including, but not limited to, a SV Logo Design Comp and a Beta Base Design Comp.

He also continued his work in the Shadow Academy, receiving both the Dark Mavens in Philosophy and History. He also completed the Force Philosophy, IRC Channel Operator, Krath Core, Leadership Fundamentals, Old Republic History, and Starfighter Studies Courses. Strats has also been active in run-ons participating in the Crimson Conclusion and also a recent 1-on-1 Run-on with Braecen Kaeth. Strats remains active on IRC as well. Strats Grimm is more than ready to receive a promotion to Dark Jedi Knight and construct his own lightsaber. Congrats, Strats. This is well deserved.

I am honored to preside over the elevation of the Hunter Grimm. Especially, as I have worked so close with him as a member, a leader and a student. This is one of those elevations that I will always remember.

Strats has been a Jedi Hunter for over six weeks, collected a merit award and a bucket full of crescents. He has participated in fifteen (15) competitions and them some; spanning across his House, Clan and the Brotherhood. As a leader - part of his major House task - he ran countless competitions without the assistance of his superiors and brought about great changes in the Battle Team that have laid ground work for the next generation of the Team under Vivackus.

He has passed both leadership courses, earned two Dark Mavens, and helped write a brilliant story as his final fiction piece. A story that will be wrapped into the Clan Plagueis War of Ascension.
