It has been over three weeks since Jerse was last promoted and in that time he has displayed sufficient levels of activity that merit his promotion to Guardian. He has completed four Shadow Academy courses and participated in at least seven competitions. In addition he maintains excellent e-mail contact and has recently started coming on IRC again. He is shaping up to be a fine addition to Clan Taldryan and I am happy to recommend his promotion to Guardian. Congratulations!

Ocih was unfortunately passed up back in 2006 for a promotion. As a Guardian then, he won a Great Jedi War event as well as participated in another event. Not only that he managed to nab 95 Cluster of Fire awards. Ever since coming back from his long leave of absence Ocih has already won a DB wide competition and 21 Cluster of Fire awards. He is long overdue for at least one promotion and I confidently award him for all his efforts past and present as well as look forward to his continued activity in House Gladius.

I am proud to see Bal already growing as a member of Clan Scholae Palatinae. As both Master and Aedile of the Novice, I have prepared him both physically and mentally to blossom. His IRC activity is consistent. He just passed the Krath Core, which was required of him to be promoted. Also in his time, he has become active on the message boards and passed both the Brotherhood Basics and ACC initiates course. I expect to see him progress rapidly over the next few week. I hired Tsingtao as my battle team leader. To lead the Jade Serpents, promote activity and help them get acclimated to the Brotherhood. I knew after only a few short months of doing an outstanding job that he would be a great fit for Aedile of House Ludo Kressh. He has never let me down. He continued his fervor with his new assignment, helping his replacement get their feet wet in leading the Jade Serpents and making sure the newer younger members had the information they needed to get going and have fun. He has made countless suggestions, including starting a training battle team to focus on the newest members of the clan. His dedication and loyalty not only to House Ludo Kressh but Clan Naga Sadow can not go unnoticed nor unmentioned. He is an asset to this clan and it is with pleasure that I recommend him for Sith Warrior.

Since his last promotion on 8/25/07, Tsingtao Ming has shown himself to be an excellent Clan member and leader. He has earned 3 seals (including a Seal of Loyalty, showing his dedication to the Clan), 31 clusters of fire, a scroll of indoctrination, a Bronze Nova, a LSS, and 5 Crescents. During my time as a leader in the Clan Tsingtao Ming served admirably in every leadership position he was in. This includes his recent work as Aedile and Battleteam leader. He ran competitions (2 as well as assisting with judging on others), encouraged activity, put out regular reports and emails, posted in several forum topics and runons including greeting and guiding new members, and dealt with the day to day things a leader in this group has to deal with. Proconsul Ashia has asked my opinion on whether he deserves an elevation, and my whole hearted answer is undoubtedly "Yes." Although he is not active at the moment due to RL issues, his service in the past to Clan and Brotherhood deserves to be commended.

Since coming to the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Naga Sadow Tsingtao has jumped in with both feet on every undertaking of his house and clan. From the beginning as little apprentice he participated in what he could and always encouraged everyone he came into contact with to do the same. In this he showed the first principle of leadership even before he was a leader, Do yourself what you would expect others to do. As an Aedile he brought this attitude with him and inspired his people to do their best while aspiring to the highest levels of excellence personally and professionally. As Tsingtao's master, mentoring him from the journeyman ranks to here I cannot put into words how proud of him I am. This promotion is well deserved and could not have come soon enough.

I have seen Tsingtao's name appear in a lot of reports and a lot of clan e-mails and even got to talk to him a few times over IRC. And my first impression of him was 'whoa, he'd do great as a leader.' At that time I was still in House Marka Ragnos so had little to do with him. When I turned out to become Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh things turned out differently. He was my Aedile and for the time he was my Aedile he was a great companion. Always on time with report and I never had to ask anything from him. Such qualities in leadership are hard to find and he's got them all. I can hardly speak about his awards or competition results as I have't know him that long, but I have learned this, he is a great person House Ludo Kressh wouldn't want to lose. Therefore, for his great service as Aedile and being an even greater person I am positive he should be awarded with a promotion.

<I>Jedi Hunter Illian Syn stood on the deck of the water skiff in the late evening sun as he rushed toward the island where the citadel was. He arrived on the island and caught a glimpse of the enormous ziggurat crafted in a dark red stone set on Doto Rock. They pulled the skiff onto the beach and Illian approached the citadel.<BR><BR>

The entire population of the clan and many others had turned out for the ceremony. Syn strode up the isle to the base of the stairs leading to the pinnacle of the ziggurat. All of the Apprentices, Novices, Acolytes, Protectors, Guardians, and Jedi Hunters were standing near the back of the columns in order of rank. The Equites and the Elders were near the head of the column with the highest ranked members at the head of the column closest to the citadel. <BR><BR>

Illian saw his Master standing near the front of the platform eying his student confidently. Staying true to the code of the Brotherhood, the Master was in attendance to give witness to the achievements of their student. He was more exited than ever to have come so far and finally achieve this pinnacle in his training. Along with his Master was the entire membership of the Clan Arcona summit.<BR><BR>

Illian Syn stood before the summit of the clan as anxious could be. The pinnacle of the Journeyman ranks was within reach of his fingertips. It was this final choice that had to be made before truly gaining recognition within the Clan. He had to choose his darkness, his Shadowcrafting path. The ceremony was simple but the decision was life changing. <BR><BR>

The summit created a massive shadow that absorbed all of the light from the sun cloaking the entire area in darkness. The Hunter felt the shadow descend on him as the summit powered on their lightsabers cutting through the darkness. All of the Arconans on the ground who possessed lightsabers activated them as well. The darkness was cut by the rainbow that was created by all of the Clan's lightsabers.<BR><BR>

Syn focused on the shadows that were engulfing them and creating his own darkness to the shadow already around him. The Hunter's shadow reached out and seemed to push the others away and in an instant only his was left and used it to unleash the power that was wielded with the ability of the Arconan Clan Power, Shadowcrafting. He had chosen the Outer Darkness, using his own shadow in the physical world. <BR><BR>

"Rise now, a Dark Jedi Knight," came the unanimous call from the summit. In front of the new Dark Jedi Knight hovered his lightsaber. The hilt shone in the sunlight and the Knight reached out and took it in his hand. He thumbed the activation switch and powered on the blade. <BR><BR>

The humming felt natural in his hand as he turned to face the crowd and thrust the saber high into the air and shouted, over a thunderous applause:<BR><BR>

"ARCONA INVICTA!"</I><BR><BR>
