My student, Protector Sauni Demai, has made steady progress towards the rank of Guardian since his elevation over 11 months ago, despite having to overcome significant rl difficulties such as periods without any internet connection and wealths of school work.

As part of a trial, Sauni Demai participated in a role play excercise with me over IRC, which spanned 3 days, with a total time of about 4 to 5 hours. This role play had the topic of his character training in the Force, and while the requirement was 75 lines minimum, we ran way over 100.

Aside from this, Sauni regularly competes in competitions, and has participated three times in the Ward of the South trivia, once in the monthly topics, placing 3rd in HAD's 'hunt for fun' competition (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=2999). He has also won Clusters of Fire for his gaming participation.

Sauni has for a long time contributed to clan life via the clan's irc channel, and has recruited two members, Lithas and Adosh. To round off his activity, he has completed two shadow academy courses, Marksmanship and Conflict Mediation, and has done considerable work on his DB wikipedia page, almost finishing the main sections and nicely illustrating what is there already.

Mibos Elott has continued with his personal activity, completing an additional two (2) Shadow Academy courses (IRC Basics and Obelisk Core).

Zaxen has taken a prime initiative to get involved and be active, as well as to try and come up with a system to get others active. Achieving House Champion and Dark Librarian, while doing numerous competitions, Shadow Academy courses and staying active on IRC. Not only does he want to further his knowledge of the Dark Side through the Shadow Academy, but he wants to further his character and his development along the way. He has gained crescents from his many competitions, showing his hard work and dedication, while helping to mold HMR from past to present. Because of all his hard work and his dedication to his learning, his house, and the DB, I believe Zaxen deserves to be promoted! - DJK Jade Atema, Master of Zaxen.

Zaxen's Master has pretty much already said why this request has been put in, but in order to give a more detailed description I will explain in-depth what the Guardian has achieved. Since his last promotion (2/21/2008) Zaxen has completed the Wiki Basics course (2/26/2008), as well as tasked himself to working towards getting a Dark Maven in History by completing Pre-Republic History (2/24/2008), Old Republic History (3/4/2008) and History of the Sith Empire (3/4/2008), with only two more courses to go. He has also been active as both a gamer and a writer (a rare commodity to have in this club), by being awarded 2 x Cluster of Fire (2/26/2008) for matches played during the ICTE of February 23, along with getting a Crescent with Quartz Star (3/1/2008) and a Crescent with Topaz Star (3/2/2008). However, what really makes Zaxen future DJK material is his willingness to get involved with his House, and because of his involvement three of the Disciples of Ragnos council positions (the Dark Primus, Dark Patriarch/Matriarch and Sword of Ragnos) were picked out as the better names from HMR members on the #disciples_of_ragnos IRC channel (a channel I created to discuss the House development project with its members). Zaxen has completely met the requirements of the Trials of the Guardian; however to make sure that this request would do through I assigned him the task of writing the description of the Dark Library (a minimum of one page of in Ariel font size 10). Zaxen did not only finish the assignment in a few days but completely outdone himself. This, as Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos and 'Dark Patriarch of the Disciples of Ragnos'...I humbly request that Zaxen Dauketrenal be elevated to the rank of Jedi Hunter. - SBM Ashura Isradia, QUA of HMR.
