I am proud to write this award for my friend Bob. Since his last merit award over two years ago, Robert has stuck his hands into every competition he could. Participating the best he can, bringing in new a comedic material for each submission and taking part in the healthy rivalry that makes the Brotherhood strong. Robert took part in over twenty seven competitions, including all nine of the Proving Grounds, two of House Shar Dakhan’s What Lies Beneath and ten of the inter-clan event Red Fury. When Inarya and myself decided which member should lead Sapphire Squadron, Bob stepped in to produce a strong application for the future of this Battleteam. He seated perfectly into the position, and recruited his fellow Clan brothers into his team, making Sapphire Squadron the biggest Battleteam in the Brotherhood presently. Since his appointment to leadership, Robert posted two reports and led his team efficiently through Red Fury. With over twenty eight submissions from Sapphire Squadron out of the total of seventy nine, Robert’s team made up 35% of the submissions.

Scithe participated in 4 events of the CNS/CSP Red Fury event. Scithe created quality posts in the Tides of War run on event that helped CNS continue to drive the storyline. Daedric Turelles is a man I know Devil’s Shroud can rely on, he is always there for the team to bounce ideas off and boost their morale. Since his last merit medal back in December, Daedric participated in eight competitions this year with six being from Proving Grounds, and one from the inter-clan event Red Fury.

Marcus Kiriyu. It is a name that I often see in my inbox and allow me to tell you why. Since his promotion back in April, Marcus has participated in over seven competitions, with five of those in the inter-clan event Red Fury. When Devil’s Shroud needed a new leader, Marcus stepped up with a strong application and fitted into the role with efficiency and a positive personality. He produced a report for the Battleteam, he sets the good example for the team and I cannot wait to see him develop further.

Shirai Dupar is a name from history that we have come to respect and rely on. Since his last merit medal back in February, Shirai participated in four competitions and three of those were with the House event What Lies Beneath, including the Runon where he posted three times with 1877 words. During this period, Shirai worked with his team on a Google Document, and together they constructed their posts to continue after each others, coordinating their plot which resulted in their team winning.
