Pontifex Troutrooper Tarentae: Pontifex Troutrooper has distinguished himself as a scholar and trusted advisor to all those who know him. Serving at the will of two Grand Masters, Troutrooper has explored the deep mysteries of arcane and esoteric Force abilities. Troutrooper’s knowledge has led to the foundation that will one day serve as the core of Force powers all Brotherhood members are trained in.

Pontifex Troutrooper has also proven to be one of our greatest warriors. Leading from the front, TT has led Tarentum in four consecutive conflicts. His skill and cunning in war has proved to be an enormous addition to the already venerable forces of Clan Tarentum. TT’s combined knowledge and warrior prowess has surpassed that of the Equite Ranks. For his wisdom in scholarly pursuits and his prowess on the battlefield, I, Grand Master Sarin, elevate Pontifex Troutrooper to the rank of Dark Adept.

There are a few members of the Brotherhood who have been more than worthy to stand among the ranks of the Elders, but have been held back either due to time, or efforts to improve the Brotherhood as a whole. In the case of Troutrooper, he has certainly given of himself for everyone’s gain, and now, the time has long-since passed, in my opinion, for him to be given his true station as an Elder of the Brotherhood.

Even before Troutrooper re-joined us here in the Brotherhood from the EH, I spoke with him on a few occasions. Though he knew lines were drawn, and respected them by virtue of his position, he did not let those lines cloud his judgment, or incite his anger. Troutrooper is, and always has been, a gentleman, an intelligent comrade, and a leader of men. We are fortunate to have him in the Brotherhood.

When he re-joined this Brotherhood, he came to us in Tarentum, and I was more than pleased to have him in the Clan. His efforts began immediately. He accepted a leadership position over a Team of individuals, and worked to provide them with a motivated example, and was a dedicated leader. When he resigned those duties, he did so to focus on a job that he knew would have far-reaching effects, and one that would even benefit those members he “left behind.” When Jac took Troutrooper as his Praetor, I knew that good things would come from the office of the Grand Master and his staff.

I was not privy to the actions taken by Troutrooper, but I know, from speaking with Jac, that TT spent a lot of time on projects for Jac, and did them with experience and concern, and was a benefit to Jac’s staff. Though I cannot speak for these projects, I can say that Troutrooper never failed in his activity in the Clan. TT has always maintained his activity levels, and even working for Jac, he still competed in a lot of competitions, and provided an example for his peers of the drive and tenacity that we can all strive for.

Troutrooper was named a Tarentae some time ago in honor of the work he had done for the Clan, but as exhibited by his activity in this Great Jedi War, his motivation has not failed him. He has shown extraordinary talent by placing in many events, and gaining several wins for his works of fiction. He has not slowed his activity in this GJW, and that actually says a lot. Most of us who have participated in several of these Vendettas know how tiresome they can be, especially towards the end. It takes a great deal of determination to maintain a strong level of activity throughout the entire event, and TT has done so. He is an example to everyone in Tarentum, myself included, but also stands as a paragon of activity and excellence to the Brotherhood.

His History Outline shows a number of medals that speak for his constant activity. Going through his earned awards shows that Troutrooper takes part in as many events and activities as he can.

Troutrooper works for the betterment of all, no matter where his opinion places him. I can say without regret, and with a great deal of respect, that Troutrooper will stand against those, myself included, whom he feels is incorrect, and will back up his opinion without hesitation. No matter what the correct resolution is, Troutrooper has insight and wisdom that can always improve the situation. Though I cannot elaborate on this aspect, I can say that a willingness to stand for his convictions is an admirable trait, and is one I hope to see passed on to future generations of Tarentum through interaction with him.

Troutrooper is more than ready to be elevated to the rank of Adept and beyond. The only other thing I can say on his behalf is, we are benefited beyond compare by his presence in the Brotherhood, and I am proud to see him as a member of Tarentum, and a leader within this Clan, even without position. He is an example, and a friend, and I appreciate all that he continues to do.

• Battlelord Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu Sadow: Conflict and Chaos are often excellent environments to judge the true measure of a leader. Two months ago, Macron assumed command of Clan Naga Sadow under such circumstances. In the time since his accession to Consul, Macron has proven his skill and leadership ability. These skills have been placed on display during the last two weeks when Macron rallied CNS to fight to the very death and secure a more prominent position amongst the Clans of the Dark Brotherhood. While other Clans sputtered and faltered, Macron and CNS rose to the challenge and continued to fight the vast power of the Yuuzhan Vong.

Macron has spent a long time developing his skills and honing the power of the Dark Side. His labors have been justified by the unification of his Clan under his banner and the removal of the CNS stigma of being a soft push over. From when he first joined the Disciples of Sadow, the then Macron Goura demonstrated the mark of a truly exceptional member. He was care free, light hearted, kind spirited and just in general an all round nice guy. He was one of those members a Consul was pleased to be able to say "he's one of mine".

Since then Macron has been a stalwart figure within the halls of Sadow Palace. He has excelled throughout his time, being a popular and much loved Quaestor, then Proconsul, now Consul. During this period he has even found time for a little bit of Tribune, among other things, on the side. Throughout all this I have never heard anyone say a bad word against him. Macron is truly one of those peoples' people. He leads through example, providing an active and positive role model for all to follow.

During his time as Proconsul and later Consul, Macron has been a guiding member of the Clan Summit and Inner Circle. He is not one to get worked up, taking things in his stride. He approaches problems with a level head, always looking for results, working with people, rather than against them. His motivational influence during the Seventh Great Jedi War has been truly commendable. He has remained resolute, set backs have not phased him, and his commitment and dedication have been solid throughout.

I was genuinely surprised when looking at Macron's record while writing this recommendation to see he is getting on for the year mark for his time as Sith Battlelord. This promotion is long overdue and I hope his service to the Clan remains as strong in a year's time as it is today. My brother in Sadow, Macron Sadow, you are truly a great asset to this Clan, and I hope your services will remain with us and be long lived well into the future.

When I think of the noble legacy of the Consuls of Clan Naga Sadow, I envision the legacy of the Clan itself. We are a united front, loyaly, trustworthy, committed to honor. The history of Clan Naga Sadow is rife with the achievements of exemplary members. Our Traditions and indeed our very Legacy stand upon our ability to recognize and cultivate extraordinary individuals and in my many years of membership in this clan I have seen few people of Macron Keibatsu Sadow's caliber. Not one month after joining the Brotherhood he was granted not one but two positions as an Eclectic Pedagogue and as a Flight Leader and from there his career only went higher. Within two months he became a Battleteam Leader and from there moved into the position of first Aedile and then Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh where he served with distinction turning it into the First House of Clan Naga Sadow before being appointed as Proconsul where he worked diligently to ensure the smooth operation of the clan.

Yet all this pales compared to his exemplary leadership as Consul of Clan Naga Sadow. Seizing the reigns of leadership mere moments before the start of the Seventh Great Jedi War, Macron has lead his clan in the best possible manner…from the front. He never asks others to do what he himself would not; he inspires confidence and fosters a sense of community not found within the rest of the Brotherhood. He is always willing to help a member in need often times going out of his way to insure that they receive the support they deserve from their Consul and friend. His genuine excitement and great love of his clan, its membership, and the rest of the Brotherhood are what make Macron an excellent leader and an outstanding gentleman.

Having served as a Battle Team leader and Rollmaster, Sai ensured the smooth logistical operation of Clan Naga Sadow and helped push CNS forward through the Great Jedi War. This effort and dedication is multiplied when viewed from the perspective that Sai is but a journeymen in the Brotherhood.

Sai Na'Ashar Keibatsu is for lack of better words the most promising member I have ever seen in my eight years in the Dark Brotherhood. His enthusiasm for this club is second to none, and his desire to do everything within his power and ability to make it a better place for all is simply beyond compare. Serving as both a Battleteam Leader and as the Rollmaster for Clan Naga Sadow he ensured the smooth operation of his Battleteam the Jade Serpents and the seamless transition of the Master/Student Program from the previous Rollmaster (me). He has maintained meticulous records on the achievements of the members greatly reducing the amount of time necessary for administrative affairs. He has worked with the Envoys of the clan to ensure that new members are afforded the educational opportunities they are entitled to. Furthermore he has held both Masters and Apprentices accountable for their portions in the Master/Student Program; this is no easy thing for a Dark Jedi Knight to hold those who are several grades above him in rank to task. Beyond all of these facts and the fact that he has a newborn child to care for Sai continued to be a contributing member in the Seventh Great Jedi War. The work speaks for the nature of the man, but beyond this his character is second to none. Sai's care for this organization is beyond compare. He works tirelessly to make sure that all members high or low receive the same quality of care and the attention that they deserve. He takes the time and goes out of his way to help members in need and even goes so far as to maintain real life contact with several members so that potential situations can be abrogated even swifter than otherwise possible. In short this gentleman is the very sort of person who embodies the Legacy of Clan Naga Sadow and who is in my opinion a rising star within the Dark Brotherhood.
