Kodo Obrim's slow and methodical approach to the Dark Brotherhood has been accomplished through consistent activity over the past several months. Kodo has participated in 3 container competitions, 13 unique competitions, and 8 gaming activities. Kodo continues to be one of our few SWTOR gamers and his assaults on Hammer Station are becoming legendary. One could say his stealthy approach is like stealing credits from a baby.

Kodo has also earned over 85,250 credits for Clan Vizsla during this period, ranked up three times in societies (GMRG two times, Shroud 1 x time). He has also earned 1 x Steel Cross, 2 x Crescent's with Diamond Stars, 1 x Crescent with Amethyst Star, 1 x Crescent with Sapphire Star, 3 x Crescents with Emerald Star, 288 Clusters of Fire, and 4 x Clusters of Graphite (and what a drawing!).

Those are words I never get tired of seeing when I pull up recommendations. "has reached the required". It gives me the warm and fuzzies because it tells me that my members, my friends, my family have managed to make it to the next step. And Frenek is no different. This crazy dude has the desire to break the mold and be a delivery driver in a club full of superpowered beings, soldiers and thugs. It's been a pleasure watching him get his feet wet in RP, he recently finished a combat match (and won snagging a double rank up in that society). He is active in the discord when time allows and he has been doing so much mario kart-ing I wonder where he finds the time.

For the boring bits of this (yay site metrics), Frenek has participated in 11 competitions, 8 of them being not containers, written 5049 words between his ACC match and various RPs, gotten a handful of Crescents (1 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire and 2 Emeralds) and 10 Clusters of Ice.

I think it is safe to say that Frenek has more than earned his right to be promoted the JM4. Congrats, Frenek!

"To think in such little time you'd make so much progress", seems to be something I find myself saying a lot more lately about the newest slate of Odanite Graduates. This is undoubtedly an effect of multiple things. From experiencing The Brotherhood before some of the major shakeups that led to our current XP-based system, to the advocacy for member agency we see today, but, the most important factor in all of this is really you. Seeing you reach out across the various platforms of the Club, jumping headlong into the ACC, Royal Guard, and writing every chance you get has brought me joy.

The day you made Knight and became the Battle Team Leader of the Knights of Allusis it became wonderfully clear your trajectory was set, and you've burnt brightly since then, driving a new direction for the Knights of Allusis, filling Discord with your bubbling personality, and stretching your wings through our various societies, while competing and relaxing with other members throughout. You've been an absolute joy to work alongside, to teach, to learn from, a model Team Leader, and a great friend altogether. I swear it feels like Syrena joined like four days ago. I can't tell if that's just because they have been such a positive influence in the clan that I have lost track of time, or if it's because I keep getting woken up by like 50-60 emails a night because Syrena keeps doing things.

In the month or so since she became a Knight, the nonstop activity has continued. 16 non container competitions, an ACC match, five more shadow academy courses, oh and over 10k words across 7 rp sessions.

A little over a month. It has been only a little more than a month. I remember a time where these things took forever. And I'm glad those days are over. Because what we have here is a member who has come so far in four months and with, hopefully many more years to go, will continue to go even farther. Syrena, you have brought with you fresh air and sunshine simply by being yourself. Continue to do exactly that and you'll find yourself surrounded by friends. You have the talent, the potential and the drive needed to go as far as you want in this club and I look forward to being around to watch it.

And now, we get to the boring details. Tisto touched on some of them, but here we go.

Syrena has participated in a number of competitions, during which she gained no less than 6 Crescents. A Diamond, a Ruby, three Amethysts and a Sapphire. She managed to gain 30 Clusters of Ice and 12 Clusters of Graphite. If that wasn't enough, she was appointed as one of our battleteam leaders and has taken off running with it.

Syrena has more than earned this promotion and I am pleased as punch to add my own voice to these recommendations. Congrats, Syrena!

I had a feeling that it wouldn't be long until I was back on this very page writing another recommendation for J'Kast. J'Kast has been an absolute unit. The way he has attacked activity in the Brotherhood since his return has been nothing short of spectacular. Some people take a liking to gaming with other members of the club. Others enjoy writing, whether it be fiction or roleplaying. Others still focus on graphics, or the Shadow Academy, or leveling up in the societies. J'Kast has quite literally done all of this.

In the relatively short time that he has been back as an active member of the club, J'Kast has really made a name for himself. Whether it be smaller Clan events or full scale Brotherhood-wide events, you can almost certainly count on J'Kast ending up placing within them. He has done so recently with Gorefest, Life Day III, Resource Rush, Trivia, ACC venue creation.. the list just goes on and on. His name is in my inbox constantly, and I love to see it!

So, lets break down some of his stats. J'Kast was promoted to EQ2 on 11/4/2024. Since that time, he has done the following: Participated in 149 competitions, gamed 40 times, leveled up in the societies 10 times, passed 6 SA courses (earning 2 degrees in the process), earned his first Sapphire Blade, participated in 4 fiction events and a roleplay event. On top of that, for his efforts, he has earned an absolute haul of crescents (6 Diamond, 10 Ruby, 16 Amethyst, 15 Sapphire, 7 Emerald, and a Quartz). He has earned a mass of clusters (711 Fire, 10 Ice, and 52 Graphite). He has also received a Scroll of Foundation. He has earned 685,660 credits for CSP! All that in just over a month.

I mean, these are just insane numbers, and that's not even the end of it! He's super active on Discord and recently he has shown a real interest in jumping back into leadership within the Brotherhood. My guy is doing it all, and winning at it!

We're extremely impressed, and with his drive, I have no doubt that he'll continue impressing. It wasn't that long ago that I was writing how we looked forward to elevating J'Kast to EQ2 after 18 years since his promotion to EQ1. Here we are a month and some change later, and it is my pleasure to recommend J'Kast for promotion to EQ3.

Roughly 7 weeks ago, J'kast earned his EQ2 promotion and showed us what he's made of. It lit a fire in him and he's been phenomenal. Since then, my inbox explode with the amount of activity he has accomplished. He's done a bit of everything in terms of activity and he's always on the hunt for those Clusters of Fire in gaming. He's a wonderful person to interact with on discord and I'm extremely glad he's apart of the Brotherhood and the Clan. I would love to be able to work with him more in the future. He's exactly the type of member we enjoy having. He has definitely earned this promotion into the higher Equite ranks.

What can I say about our lone Quaestor of the Clan? Pretty easy really! Quentin is transitioning very nobly into one of the Clan’s seasoned veterans since taking over House Shar Dakhan. Quentin is a great asset to the team and we definitely look forward to seeing all the upcoming accolades he will acquire during his career.

Here are just a few of those accolades, since his last promotion Quentin has participated in 144 comps, and Co/Org’d fourteen comps. Over at the Shadow Academy he has passed sixteen courses earning himself three Maven, a Savant and a Pundit degree. He has earned thirty five Crescents and racked up eighty Clusters during this promotion cycle. He also has been busy with ancillary duties within the Club earning himself a Scroll of Indoctrination, Scroll of Foundation, a Seal of Loyalty and a Seal of Transcendence.

There's a lot that Quentin has done on the surface in the clan. Running comps, collecting crescents, shadow academy courses. But true to form, I'm more focused on the other things, the pieces that don't show up neatly on a spreadsheet.

Quentin is our sole remaining Quaestor, and has worked with DarkHawk and I on a new clan structure that would change that to a Magistrate. His insights and labor has been quite useful in larger discussions about the future and organization of our clan. He's also always one of the first to sign up for role-plays in the clan, helping DarkHawk and I get everyone adjusted in the conversion from our favored runons to the new format and rules of the RP. He presses people, old and new, encouraging them to come out of their comfort zones a little bit and try new activities. These are the things that I appreciate the most about Quentin. The behaviours and attitude of service that will help sustain Naga Sadow and help ensure that it stays alive in the future.

In the activity, he's earned the promotion to Equite 3, another step closer to the Elder rank that I know he will become. But in his behaviours, in his leadership, in his labors, he has more than earned my respect. Thank you for all that you have done, Q. Congratulations and well earned.

Well I'll be, who'd have thought I'd be writing a second recommendation for you on the heels of your Kukri? I've already spoken to your infectious energy, your push to engage and teach our members, and how much of a pain in the influential you are within Clan Odan-Urr. How you push us to commit, strive, and create more, and how your dedication has countlessly paid off, and here it is, again. I know by now you've got to be exhausted with my walls of text, and it wouldn't do to let me have all of the honors, barking your ear off.

I will leave you with this though, your skills with people, constant wit, and planning have been a driving force in today's Odan-Urr, and I hope to cultivate that same energy in the future, using you as one of our prime examples, showcasing that infectious energy and drive you've given, as both a member and leader, to better the Community not only just the Clan. For me, Tisto sits firmly in the diligent and hard working members category in Odan-Urr. I haven't had the pleasure of working with him for long as a fellow Quaestor, but what I have seen and experienced is a thoughtful and diligent leader who loves his unit, be it House or Clan, and busts his butt to put out good content and entertain his members. He knows what they want and what they enjoy, what's considered fun in his House, and he has started doing those very things from the start. He does a lot to keep his members engaged and enjoying their stay in House Hoth, and has even managed to bring out a lot of the old guard from formaldehyde.

He has my respect and my confidence in his abilities. Congrats on your promotion, buddy. It's most definitely well earned.

Here I am again, for the fourth time, writing a promotion recommendation for the biggest pain in the ..... whoops, I mean one of the best Members COU and Hoth have ever had. Knowing Tisto for the last eight years, I have seen him go from an insane ball of energy and ideas to hundreds of pages of emails that tested my patience almost every day. For those first days of working with him as my BTL, I wasn't sure if he would make it far in the club but as shocked as I am to say it he is a much more mature and seasoned leader than I have ever expected. I am very proud to have him lead the best house in the club. and again for my 4th time Congratulations my friend on Equite 4 you deserve it and I look forward to seeing what is next for Hoth with you in charge.
