Hel-Pa has flourished during this GJW. His talent for JO was unknown to us until he started to win match after match! Enthusiastic and active, he has earnt his promotion to JH. ~Lannie

Hel-Pa has done great in this GJW. He participated in 6 events and earned the clan 289 points. He placed 68th overall and played his heart out in JO and in pinball. Hel-Pa is a great member; I can see him doing great things in the future. Hel-Pa today you are here by promoted to Jedi Hunter! Congratulations you have really earned this.

QUA Chaosrain

Sklib turned out a great record for the Clan in his first Great Jedi War. He hasn't been with us too long, but he's fitting in nicely. Without his help we might have lost this War, so a promotion for this and his continual general activity is in hand. Congrats Jedi Hunter!

Betja is a true Taldryan-ite – quiet as a mouse, but then springing back into life to play a major role in ensuring our clan’s victories! This, by its very nature, makes his activity difficult to reward. However, I feel this promotion is an excellent way of rewarding years of hard work and loyalty that have brought Taldryan into first place in GJWs and feuds. Most recently, he gave stirling service during our feud with Arcona and the recent GJW. A talented writer, he’s willing to put the time and effort into producing really first rate competition entries of the highest quality. Thanks for everything, Betja. Betja Jun has done so much for Ektrosis, and almost all of it was before my time (Which is a shame). He hasn’t been promoted in almost three and a half years! He has done so much in that time. Betja is always around when we need him, like in major competitions. Way back in the Fourth Great Jedi War, he led Ektrosis, and had 11 different entries. He had a four-month stint as Roll Master of House Ektrosis since his last promo. He had a great showing in the 2003 IG’s placing in 10 events and participating in 10 more events. In the Fifth Great Jedi War, Betja participated in 9 events, placed in one and finished 15th overall in Taldryan. In the last Krath Rite of Supremacy, Betja helped Taldryan come in second in the Run-on event, and participated in a lot of events helping secure a victory for Taldryan. Betja placed second in the Battle-plan event and participated in 6 other events in the recent Arcona vs. Taldryan feud. In the recent Sixth Great Jedi War, Betja Jun competed in 5 events and earned Taldryan 537 points helping the clan greatly. He also placed second in the battle plan event in the GJW. Betja has been a very clutch person for Taldryan, he always shows up when we need him. He is a great member to have and is always active and helpful on the message boards and mailing lists. He has done a ton of small competitions over the past three and a half years. Betja Jun has more than earned this promotion to Dark Side Adept. Congratulations Betja, you really earned this! Thank you so much for all your hard work over the years.

QUA Chaosrain

After the Great Jedi War came to end we started to look at who needed to be awarded. Betja turned out to be in the top 10 in Taldryan, 36 out of 250 total GJW participants. He managed to get in on several events, earning 3 placements, and scoring the Clan a large amount of points that in this close conflict turned out to be critical. What was most important was the fact Betja is an older member and when it came time to step up and help the Clan in our largest competition, he was right there ready to go. Looking into Betja more this can only be seen even more.

In the last three years since he was promoted, Betja has been active off and on in small events up to our largest. He participated in numerous Independence Games, heavily in the Fourth and Fifth Great Jedi Wars, the Krath Rite of Supremacy last year, the Clan Feud with Arcona this year, and now the recent Great Jedi War. When it came time to pwn there he was for his Clan, this is true devotion without thought of reward or personal glory. You can truly count on Betja to show up and jump in on anything, giving it all he can. While I don’t know you as much as others here may, I can see your dedication to Taldryan. With your time in the Brotherhood, long term service to the Clan, and continual help event after event, I think you’ve achieved the rank of Dark Side Adapt. Congrats!

In the DB there are some people that have just had a great, positive influence on everyone they have dealt with. Betja is one of those people. I've know Betja for a little over five years now, and I can't think of anything but good thoughts about this members. He is funny, he is hard working, and he is there when you need him. For years on end, Betja has come to the aid of Taldryan, giving his time for the benefit of the clan. He guides both new members and old members alike and is a beacon for what I would like to see out of many long-time members.

Dark Adept is an important promotion in any member's career. This is a milestone not only for Betja, but also for the DB. It is not often that we award DA to a non-Summit or DC member, but I can say without hesitation that this award is deserved. Betja truly belongs among the elders.

Tiberius has done a bunch since his last promotion. His work in the recent feud and GJW was crucial to Tal’s success. He participated in events in the feud. Placing second in the poetry and third in the ACC. In the recent GJW he participated in 12 events and earning Taldryan 420 points. With out his help we would have lost the GJW. He did great work as Tetrarch, and has done a ton of competitions since his last promotion. Tiberius you have more than earned your promotion into the Equites. I here by designate you as Krath Priest Tiberius Serpentium of Ektrosis of Taldryan. Congratulations you have truly earned this!

QUA Chaosrain

Tiberius has been a Dark Jedi Knight for a bit more than a year now. Since then he has continued to lead his battle team up until March of this year, when life started to pull more of his time away. Tibs has continually been around to jump in the occasional competition, jump in on any fun events, and when we need him in major events. He has pushed new ideas up to the Summits over time as well, always trying to look for ways to improve things and help the Clan.

In the recent Feud with Clan Arcona he participated in 6 of 11 events. Most recently though, Tiberius has done an outstanding job in the Great Jedi War for Taldryan, scoring quite well. He participated in 13 events, scoring 1st in one of those and earning placement points in 3 others. Overall, Tibs scored within the top 50 of 250 participants in the War, an amazing job on a personal scale and for the Clan. Without him we would not have scored a victory in this War, and that is much appreciated. For all Tiberius has done for his battle team, his House, and his Clan in the past year he has definitely earned a promotion to the rank of Priest. Congrats!

Vodo did a great job in the GJW. He participated in 4 events earning Taldryan 444 points and placing 45th out of 246. He did great work in the feud too. He did 4 events in the recent feud with Arcona and has been really active over the past months. He is a great asset to Taldryan and Ektrosis. He has earned this promotion to Dark Jedi Knight! Congratulations Vodo, you have finally earned your lightsaber!

Vodo only did 4 events, but scored so high in them that he made it in the top 50 of 250 participants in the War. Vodo submitted quality work in an effort to help the Clan achieve yet another victory in a major competition, and thankfully we won it barely. Without Vodo we wouldn’t have done this. We needed everyone to step up over the past 3 months, and Vodo did that. For all his amazing work a promotion to Dark Jedi Knight is at hand. Congrats!

As QUA of Ektrosis Chaos has done a good job in leading one of the most well known groups of writers in the DB. With his assistance in both motivating his house and his personal participation allowed Taldryan to take first place in the 6th GJW. Without the help of the fictional folks in Ekky we wouldn’t have made it and we have Chaos to thank for motivating them enough to help out. You’ve earned this promo you misspelling fool

Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari

Shortly after my return to Ektrosis after my stint as KHP, I took the position as Envoy, and have received unwavering support in that position from the house leadership. Chaos and Crix work exceptionally well as a team. If one is absent for a period of time the other always has it covered, and I rarely see them disagree on matters of how the house should be run. My position means that I frequently need to get someone recommended for promotion, or I need to find out obscure bits of information, and there’s always one of them available for me to speak to on IRC. Worthy of note is that they’re capable of coming to actual decisions during e-mail threads – often a rare trait amongst DB leaders!

But the main emphasis of this recommendation has to be the leadership of Ektrosis during the recent feud and GJW. Despite the occasional computer problem, they both proved that they are leaders capable of ‘getting their hands dirty’ – they jump right in there and lead by example. Emphasizing the importance of participation, in the grandest tradition of the house, they were a main force in Taldryan’s victory. They’ve proven their credentials as leaders, and they’ve earned themselves a much deserved promotion. Thanks for all your work, guys. ~ Alanna

Chaos has served Ektrosis as our Quaestor for nine months now. During that time he has been constantly working to improve the house through multiple updates to the Jedi Trials and changes in not only how the Battle teams worked, but also their very nature. Chaos is constantly in contact with me, the Clan Summit, our Envoy, the Battleteam Leaders and really, the entire house. The two of us have found that we work together very well, to the point of us saying the exact same thing in the exact same words at times. He's waited nearly a year since his last promotion; Chaos more then deserves this for all the work he's put into Ektrosis.

Battlemaster Taku Matsuki Taldrya, Aedile of Ektrosis and Son of Taldryan

Chaos is as much a member as he is a great leader. In the last 9 months he has pushed House Ektrosis to the most active House in the Clan, overtaking Dinaari which was seen by so many as the dominate powerhouse. Now we have a House Ektrosis with a superb Summit in place that is turning out active, contributing, and exciting new members. They’ve re-opened battle teams to help those in their Knight Trials take on leadership experience, upped the promotion standards and the handling of new members, and really just been growing day by day. There is no doubt that Chaos with his Summit and their simple, easy concepts of leadership have had a major part in all of that.

Most recently, Chaos has done excellent in the Great Jedi War for himself and the Clan. He managed to get in 14 events, score 6 placements, and finish right outside of the top 10 on the GJW MVP List. Without Chaos in the battlefield and leading his House we would have lost this. For all Chaos has done for the Clan and Ektrosis over the past 11 months since getting Templar, he is more than deserving of a promotion to the rank of Prelate. Congrats!

Vardar, I told you once that the summit watches all that you did for the GJW and now I’m going to prove it. Doing twelve of the events and placing in seven of them is no small feat and I think you’ve earned a promotion. Our victory over CNS wouldn’t have been possible without you gaming like you did plus doing the art and pinball shows that you’re dedicated to this clan which tells me that it’s time to reward you for that. Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari

Vardar has been in Taldryan for 5 months now and I think pretty active the entire time. He’s been in and out of other Clans before coming to us, but I hope he’s found a new home here. Vardar helped us out in the Feud and now has pwned up the Great Jedi War with us. He managed to participate in 12 events, scoring placement points in 7 of those events. While he didn’t manage to get any Novas in those, his contributions to the War were critical for Taldryan to score a victory. Overall, Vardar finished in the top 20 of 250 GJW participants, an awesome accomplishment in itself. Taldryan honors the efforts of those that loyal fight for it and Vardar has definitely done that. For his continual efforts I’m happy to recommend a promotion to the rank of Templar. Congrats!
