Over the past 15 months since his last elevation, Aru has been a super-charged firecracker of activity and leadership. Part of his activity, combined with his work as M:HM for 9 of those months, and his simultaneous work as Aedile for 8 of those months, has already been documented by his Sapphire Blade award.

Since earning that Sapphire Blade, however, Aru has still been a beacon of activity, organizing 15 competitions while participating in 85 (out of 30/169 total, respectively, since his last promotion). He’s earned 21 Crescents with varying stars over the course of these efforts, and has tallied 19 Clusters of Fire, 65 Clusters of Ice, 4 Clusters of Earth, and a whopping 106 clusters of graphite, and 28 Seals of Enmity from the last RoS.

In Great Jedi War XV, Aru’s 25 entries qualified him for 100% participation, but showed that he was willing to lead by example in terms of sharing a “do all the things” energy and motivation that helped spur Arcona (and Voidbreaker Battleteam) to a record number and event-leading participation ratio.

Aru’s personality is passionate and driven, and while there can be some bumps in the road, he continues to always show up when it matters and demonstrates a can-do attitude that I believe points towards what we look for in the later ranks of the Equites.

So for all his hard work and perseverance, I am honored to see Aru elevated to the rank of Equite 3. Great work Aru, and we love having you on the team.

Aru's merits, and they are numerous, for his service as Aedile have already been recounted in the reasons for his Sapphire Blade. However, I feel it is worth pointing out the importance of character when obtaining higher ranks. As the member grows and matures, they will often take on a position of seniority, if not mild authority as well, as younger Journeymen look up to these elder geezers to see what the Club is all about.

When I consider people whom I'd like the newer recruits to see as an example of a 'senior' member of the Club, I cannot think of anyone better than Aru. He exemplifies qualities which I find are quintessential for the club's continued health and should thus be lauded. He's hard working, shown by his extravagant numbers, he's loyal and dependable, and he has a moral character which he does not compromise on. In our ceaseless quest to improve and maintain the experience of the DJB, having such members who're willing and ready to speak up and also do the work is invaluable and I am more than happy to support this promotion to the 'seniors' of this club. It’s not often that newly minted JM4’s are thrown into the chaos of a Great Jedi War (XV), but over the course of the 2-month long club-wide event, Mex (Sentinel) was the very model of efficiency. His 12 entries across the event gave him 100% participation credit by hitting every bin, and he was a big part of the Clan’s Silver-nova-winning Run-On where he put up quality posts that got him out of his comfort zone with writing other characters. He in turn helped by proof reading other posts and entries to make the overall product better and to create a better experience for his teammates. He also netted a 7th palace placement for his gaming efforts.

Outside of the War itself, in the 3 months since his elevation to the final stage of the Journeyman ranks, Mex accumulated a total of 38 competitions, 9 of which earned crescents with a star, 87 Clusters of Fire, 12 Clusters of Ice, 19 Clusters of Earth, 6 Clusters of Graphite, 5,202 words of fiction and earned 193,300 credits for the Clan!

And now, I’m honored to see him into the next step of his career by welcoming him into the first rank of the Equites. Keep up the great work, Mex, we love having you in Voidbreaker and Clan Arcona.

Mex is everything that embodies enthusiasm in the DJB. Or if not, then pretty fricking close to it!

It has been a frankly dizzying ride from the humble Novitiate ranks to his Knighting and during the GJW he's been an absolute blitz of activity and creativity. I have been particularly impressed by his genuine commitment to both the concept of the GJW, as well as its spirit, wishing well to all participants and hoping for the closest of results. A true sportsman in that regard, and a mentality I think the more jaded among us calcified veterans ought to rekindle from time to time.

For all his hard work and dedication to House and Clan, I am proud and support this important transition from Journeyman to Equite and I'll be looking forward to your career with great interest.

Ric has been an excellent addition to the Fist staff since joining in January. and I hope he applies to return for a future term. During his tenure on staff Ric reviewed 99 gaming activity submissions, ensuring that 51 members were awarded clusters of earth and fire in a timely manner. He also provided content to the gaming community at large by organizing three well-received Fist competitions. In addition to his normal magistrate duties, Ric stepped up to ensure continuity of support to our SWTOR players when the Fist office transitioned away from the T:SWTOR position by hosting activities on that platform and by providing day-to-day administration of the in-game guild such as setting collective goals and adding new member characters.

It has been quite a little journey for Quentinshadows since he reached the rank of Knight. In the seven months since reaching the final Journeyman rank Quentin has supported us in helping achieve our 2nd place ranking in Great Jedi War XV by participating in five competitions in particular which is greatly appreciated.

In a more general sense, Quentin has participated in 31 competitions, writing for three fiction activities (for a total of 1589 words), and continues to be an appreciated presence in our Discord channel. He brings a down-to-earth personality that is more than welcome in our chats. Add to this things like the five courses he passed, his recent Anteian Cross or the numerous Crescents he has earned (1 Crescent with Sapphire Star, 3 Crescents with Emerald Star) and I think it paints a pretty picture. Much like the man himself, Quentin's writing style is down to earth, for which he has earned 5 Clusters of Ice. Quentin has also displayed an appreciation for the club as he has sought to recruit others: Lukeshadows and Repeated Motive, who have joined the club and our Clan. He has already recieved 2 Scrolls of Indoctrination for sharing his love of the club on the whole, but I did want to take a moment to voice my own appreciation of Quentin.

All in all, I think that the time comes when a member makes that next first step. In this case, I think the time has come for Quentinshadows to take the step into the world of the Equite ranks. I will be watching his future progress with great interest, as always.

Aay'han has been a member of Taldryan for a little while now, and she brings a long a certain level of madness with her character that makes writing with her a lot of fun, as most Tal members experienced in the Run On in the recent Great Jedi War where she helped the Clan claim first and a Gold Nova. Not only that, but she claimed a Gold Nova in the Phase 1 combat fiction!

That's not where it ends for her war effort, though. She put in a fantastic showing, participating in nearly all the bins and being there to read and proof other members fictions when asked.

In total since her last promotion, Aay'han has participated in 91 competitions, organised 4 and co-organised 4 competitions, and has earned the following awards;

Koda has been exceptional since coming to Taldryan. Not only is he now serving as Ektrosis Aedile, but he achieved what many new numbers struggle to do, and participated in every single Bin in the recent Great Jedi War, earning both a Gold and Bronze Novafor his efforts!

The Prometheus states that a member must participate in 15 competitions. Koda has done 42. He co-organised Bitersweet Celebrations with me, showing a willingness to give back to the membership. He's passed the Management and Leadership SA courses, and recently aided the summit with a Clan project, the creation of of the Ascendant Mothercrystal.

Koda has also reached rank IV in the Aurora Collegium, and earned his Dark Maven in Galactic History.

Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention his activity in the Taldryan chats. Whilst not a requirement, he injects a life into conversations wherever he goes, always willing to talk with the rest of the Clan and show his amazing artwork.

It's with this that I'd like to congratulate Koda on reaching Knighthood! Congratulations, Koda!

I feel like I'm constantly writing recommendations for Qormus, which is the kind of problem that every Consul wishes that he had. His contributions as a member from a general activity standpoint have been worthy of immense praise in and of themselves, and would stand him in great company amongst other Equites seeking advancement. His work as a leader, however, has been of even greater profile than that again. His work has been exemplary, and his promotion is well earned.

During the recently completed Great Jedi War, Qormus entered 26 competitions and earned 170 points for Plagueis, finishing sixth overall in our Clan. His entries earned him a total of 6 top ten competition placements. Overall, he has entered a staggering 245 competitions since his last promotion. His placements netted him a total of 1 Legion of the Scholar and 85 overall crescents: 13 Diamond, 18 Ruby, 14 Amethyst, 20 Sapphire, 10 Emerald, 7 Topaz, and 3 Quartz crescents. He has also earned 57 Clusters of Earth for his gaming and then 119 Clusters of Graphite for his graphical arts. He additionally earned 14 Clusters of Ice for his 4,328 words of fiction.

His work as a Quaestor has, in my estimation, been without peer in the brotherhood. He has released his House report like clockwork on the same day every month without fail, ensuring that his House is kept in the know of goings on in the Brotherhood. He has provided email updates with competitions listed each weekend for his House members to ensure they are easily able to find activities. Speaking of competitions, he has also hosted 56 competitions since his last advancement, including several competition series and The Great Aliso Spring Clean throughout the month of April to help prepare for the Great Jedi War. His work leading House Ventress over the previous nine months has been absolutely critical to the success of our Clan, with 53% of his house members submitting activities during Great Jedi War XV. He has constantly served as a reliable sounding board in Clan policy and process discussions, while always looking to understand the Brotherhood and its systems in greater detail in order to serve his members better.

Rarely does any Consul get to write a recommendation with such levels of personal activity couple with overall leadership work. Qormus, you have my thanks and the thanks of your Clan.

Since his promotion to Neophyte on March 26, Vishi has participated in 14 competitions, earning 2 Sapphire Stars. He has also added 137 Clusters of Earth to his collection. Vishi is also active in the Brotherhood Discord, having linked his dossier. Last but not least, Vishi has successfully been awarded a merit award (Dark Cross).
