For the level of performance he shows he deserves this award however I find that his character on IRC is excellent, always cheerful and ready to partake in conversations. He also has an excellent attitude about gaming and the DB in general and is a prime role model for younger members to follow. Dark Prince is deserving a promotion to Acolyte, and probably was some time ago. You have to try to stay in a House for a over a year, not get AWOL'd and stay a Novice and on top of that earn a DC.
